    I mean, how can you hate someone if you think you're the same as them? You either hate them because you think you're better or you hate them because you think they're better. It's best not to compare yourself to anyone ever and live life that way, but I guess humans gonna human.

    there's a lot of complexity to this event and how it even got to this point

    the obvious question nobody is asking is

    1. who did the secret recording?
    2. obviously it was someone Hispanic
    3. there's a political motive or personal motive for the recording

    the other questions are why there is there so much racial tension in LA?
    people who know the history of the city know this was always the case

    you combine extremely high cost of living, i got to get mine attitude, you get this outcome

    I mean @pgabriel knows this is where rappers will get killed on a regular basis for a gold chain

    They should resign.
    Didn't 2pac say LA wouldn't be LA without the blacks and Salvadorans.

    They (my own family and neighbors) would call my oldest sister "la negrita" when we were little for having a dark complexion. Thread reminded me od her hating the song "La Negra Tomasa" and wanting it cancelled back in the day.

    Seriously though yea LA has always had racial tensions to be honest I’m surprised this wasn’t some Asian councilors saying something derogatory about black Angelinos or vice versa.
