If he doesn't have dementia, he doesn't appear to have any basic understanding of the concept of inflation and what it means.

No, even on that snippet itself. Watch the full clip here (only 3min). He articulated his points well enough.

He's saying that inflation has stayed even over the past several months. He says it's not good. He goes into saying all the other good that has happened (10m new jobs, 3.7% unemployment, manuf job coming back to the US, inflation will be controlled, future looks good down the road, and that he believes we will go through a soft landing). He's basically painting a bright future while diverting attention away from the negative and toward the positive (IOW, being a smart politician).

He didn't say this, but if you have watched him in the past, you would know that he is basically making this argument: current inflation is not good but it's worth it (vs what would happen if we allowed covid to kill the economy - if you buy into the idea that gov spending caused the inflation -- which I think it did, but only a portion of it) for what we got out of it.

I kind of agree with that argument and I'm in the camp that believes inflation will go back down even if the fed does nothing (though I do want them to do something, but not this aggressive). And so naturally, I also believe the fed actions are unnecessarily risky. I think that we are more likely to get a hard landing than a soft landing and worse, we risk a crash landing.

For DeSantis and all of those in Florida should sincerely hope that Biden doesn't have dementia. DeSantis certainly isn't acting like Biden has dementia.

I think it's a sliding scale. It's fair to say he is just old. There are many jobs he wouldn't be allowed to work in anymore, but he has probably the most important one in the world.

Probably so but there is no age limit on being President. As President he does have a lot of aids and even if he forgets stuff there are people there to remind him. I wouldn't trust him to fly an airplane but he's able to do his job as President and is showing that during this crisis.

Should Joe withhold aid to Saudi arabia until he gets more oil?

Just remember one thing. Biden will never ever ever be the lying psychopath Trump is. It's impossible. Biden will never ever ever be the corrupt, dangerous, inciter of propaganda and hate Trump is. Biden isn't an insurrectionist and traitor like Trump. Biden actually cares about others. Trump isn't capable of caring about anyone but himself. Trump always has a reason to ask people for money, and sell them some crap branding his name on it. He's all about himself and his money. He thinks he is Mr. Wonderful. Last, but certainly not least, Biden is not nearly as dumb on just about any possible subject as Trump. In fact, the ave middle school kid could probably beat Trump on any type exam. Trump is only good at the art of the con and the grift. He beats Biden on those two things. A snake in a suit will always be a snake.

Huh. He is saying that his son possibly got cancer from burn pits which is completely possible. And the report I see to that was that he was a JAG lawyer and not a combat veteran. But he was stationed in locations that had burn pits. You don't have to be a grunt to be near burn pits.

You really want to go there dude?
