Well, pretty much everyone mentions him. I assumed you were referring to Jan 6th.

I disagree. You guys try to lump us in with MAGA people. I don't think all Democrats are as stupid or corrupt as AOC or Kamala Harris

Dems don’t get voted out of office for disagreeing with them.

Mark Kelly is winning his race and he’s been vocal against Biden.

I think Democrats who don't like AOC would think you are stupid for comparing her to Trump.

So if you lived in Ohio you would be voting for Tim Ryan instead of JD Vance then? Based on what you are saying you would have to based on how you are self identifying as separate or above pro January 6 insurrectionists.

JD Vance literally has given money to and publicly supported January 6 insurrectionists.

Also here in Texas (if you live here) I assume you will be voting for Beto instead of Abbott and definitely won’t be voting for Ken Paxton who literally used his own role to try and overturn the 2020 election. Since Paxton does nothing without Abbott’s support we can assume Abbott was in on Paxtons insurrection attempts.

So you are voting for Beto and Garza??? Do I have that right??

I’ve been pretty open about my criticism of the Squad and particularly Ilhan Omar and they are not comparable to Trump.

I just finished hillbilly elegy. Supporting the insurrectionists contradicts the points he makes at the end of the book of trusting government institutions. I wonder if people have been calling him out in that.

    https://www.thefiscaltimes.com/2022...ge-Reduce-Social-Security-Medicare-Report?amp

Republicans Plan to Use Debt Limit Leverage to Reduce Social Security, Medicare: Report

It’s baffling to me. Their base is made up entirely of people living off of only SS who would have died a long time ago without Medicare. Let’s gut it to spend MORE on defense??!!

Sometimes I think just F it. Do away with the entire safety net. Medicare, Medicaid, SS, EITC, SNAP. Just turn the spigot off and let chaos reign.

All the MAGAs can go begging to their churches for medicine and nursing home care I suppose.

Senators tried in every way they could think of to sue out whether the nominees would consider overturning Roe. Nominees evaded having to give an answer. Lawyers say, "nah, he didn't say!" but to real people, that's a lie. In court it's the truth, but in politics it's a lie. It's not like they recently had a change of heart where they realized Roe had to be overturned. They knew they wanted to when they were nominated and hid it (as best they could) from the Senate and the American people.

He's said a lot of things that are hypocritical. Vance is another example of the grifter who is willing to sell out principles for power.

I am not opposed to raising the age limit, it seems with the way people age and the average life expectancy rising it only makes sense.

With that said I still don't know why Republicans are so hell-bent on dying on that hill there is no constituency wanting this.

Since they are talking about it with respect to impeachment for perjury, it is really the fact that in court it is the truth that is important here. If anyone thought Barret or Gorsuch or Kavanaugh was supportive of Roe when they voted to confirm them (and pretty much all of the people claiming they lied opposed them anyway), that person might be too stupid to hold office.

I have no problem with it as long as their rulings are consistent with the Constitution.

The alternative would encourage judicial activism.
