I'll take Chris Burke HR to end the 18 inning game. Ausmus game tying HR. Berkmans grand slam.

While it is different because it wasn't just a HR, but Altuve 3 HR game had to rank up there.

 

Oh no doubt, but it was much more than that. So let's not sell it short.

That kid has such trouble against low outside pitches and in fact looked so terrible swinging feebly at that pitch earlier in the count (nowhere close to the strike zone) and then somehow managed to lay off that pitch that would have ended the game. Then he looks for the pitch and it's a great pitch location-wise and he just goes down and gets it.

Looked like a 10 year veteran who has been through the wars.

 

Meyers will not get anything to hit batting between Diaz and Maldonado. move him up to 5th and replace Diaz with Hensley. Hensley is an unknown and he will get some respect based on that for at least a couple of at bats.

 

Vasquez should be catching and hitting 8th with Meyers in CF hitting 9th if you are going to play him.
