    You gotta consider:

    2022 Home
    Framber 7-4 3.54ERA. 1.263WHIP

    Lance. 2-1. 1.50ERA. 1.033WHIP
    (career) 28-11 2.67ERA. 1.109WHIP

    2022 AWAY
    Framber. 10-2. 2.28ERA. 1.078WHIP

    Lance. 2-1. 3.57ERA. 1.585WHIP
    (CAREER) 21-21. 4.43ERA. 1.417WHIP

Being able to use Framber for game #5 if needed makes sense so was right decision DESPITE this.

Correa can go to the WS... if he buys a ticket.

There's the comparison I've been looking for.

Pressly gives up the 2 runners on base, a lefty power hitter is up next and you bring in Smith to get the last out.

That's how egregiously bad a decision that was.

Grienke was fine, despite those, he had the Nats mystified.

When Hinch sent in Will the Thrill I was screaming.

Ok I now reconsider my choice.

I do believe you have clearly proven the point that Junior should be starting game 2.

Will Harris was automatic that year. As great a season as you'll ever see for a relief pitcher.

    Clearly the right choice.

I did too until SS showed Dusty how to pull a reliever to put in a lefty starter on short rest. Now I'm worried.

Just win games 2 and 3 and everything else takes care of itself.

Should have pitched around him..lots of junk, and if it's going to be a fastball, it's not even painting the black..I mean, there is a base open.

Freaking piping it to Yordan. No excuses.

I'm not worried because Dusty has made great bullpen decisions.

Even when he had Raley and Taylor, he didn't use them in ultra-high leverage positions.

Unlike Servais, he has Pressly, Montero, Abreu, Stanek, and Neris to get tough outs in the 8th and 9th.

I could see Dusty pitching Framber sometime in game 5 but only if needed in innings 1-6. And likely to start an inning or if a ground ball is the desired result. Once inning #7 starts this bullpen is too deep and rested

And Dusty has thought that way too.

Yep, and when I Black guy named Howie hits "that" pitch the other way OFF the friggin foul pole you tip your hat. There was nothing wrong with that pitch just great hitting there. Maybe Harris was wearing down a bit but you can't fault location there.

So Dusty has tipped his hand that if this series goes to game 5 he plans on using Framber on short rest vs the correct decision to go with Javier as your starter.

I have always justified the move. I personally thought Grienke was dealing and would have loved to see him finish the inning. Having said that, Will Harris was lights out that year in the playoffs and you take your chances with him even if Cole is warming up becuase it's a different mentality being a reliever vs starter in my opinion.

That was a crazy hit that barely got out and there is nothing you could do. The pitch wasn't a mistake by any means. It was literaly on the bottom outside corner of the plate for a strike and he reached out and got it and made an amazing hit that makes the move look that much worse.

    There was no base open.

You're forcing the tying run to be in scoring position. Extremely rare we've ever seen anybody do that. Barry Bonds is about the only thing that comes to mind
