Trhae's parents must have been inspired by Dwyane Wade. TBH though I like the signing. Trhae is a 6'7 athletic 3nD. If he's good Rox should give him the Bruno Fernando special (4 years at 8M, 6M unguaranteed) and lock up all the role players at dirt cheap prices for the forseeable future. Darius Days I dunno who that guy is but he must have shown something otherwise Rox wouldn't have dumped Maledon.
The more I see Trhae Mitchell the more I like the signing he reminds me of poor man's Tari Eason. You can see him here in action his playstyle is a lot like Tari no plays are really called for him he scores on open 3s, transition buckets and hard cuts to the basket. On defense he is a pest guards guys from outside 3 pt line all the way to the hoop and had some pretty nice blocks this game.
Days is a four year college player. Hard worker and role player. He doesn't have to be coached so I am sure that is part of the appeal. Limited upside but could stick around and a solid defender even while undersized.
Days isn't an NBA player. He's severely undersized. doesn't have any skills that are particularly good. He just plays hard to try and mitigate. The funny thing is LSU and the coaching staff were so committed to this guy despite not being better than Tari. He's the reason Tari came off the bench when it was better for LSU for him to start and play the majority of minutes. Days won't make the team
