The only reason I get on here is to share my knee jerk, over the top, and overly sarcastic take on the team. @King1 I find to be the most entertaining person in this thread. He is the opposition and I will talk sarcastic **** to him all season in this thread The man gave props where props is due for our boy KPJ and you tell him to go **** himself and don’t accept it. Nut riding each other’s opinion isn’t very fun
Dude, I think you are taking yourself and others too seriously. This is a sports fans site on the internet. We are presumably all Rockets fans. We come from all walks in life with all kinds of personality. It's just a place we enjoy talking about the team. Everyone has his favorite players. (Mine is Boban in a tongue in cheek way.) And everyone has players they don't like. We argue. Sometimes we present good info/data/arguments. A lot of times we joke. Sometime we make sarcastic comments. Sometimes we laugh at each other. Sometimes we laugh at ourselves. Just chill and have some fun. If it gets too heated, walk away. If you can't stand someone, put him on Ignore. It's kind of like going to a sports bar and watch a game. People cheer. People talk smack. Just have some fun.
Its so "light and fun" that it has THIS place on dividing lines. None of the other Rockets spaces shares this odd need to fight. Ya'll enjoy that - I wont be taking part until the blatant narratives and lies come back around in this stupid ass revolving door. Have fun.
So you creating a mythical offense that you hope is compatible to a guy you have never seen run it? And Harden and Capella definitely got it done, I have no idea what you are talking about, they were part of a historically great offense in points and efficiency we could only hope to duplicate that. You still did not answer the main question who is going to be running the offense in this scenario, Adelman always had a guy who set up the offense and was the hub.
Sure, playing scrubs like Josh Christopher and Gary Turd so many minutes will cause that. Has nothing to do with the team as a whole or KPJ and Green who were amazing.
We were toying with them our starting backcourt. Then we started experimenting with Tyty, Christopher abomination and basically gave the lead back. If we actually played our JG, KPJ, EG, Smith, Sengun, Tari the majority of the game, we would have blown out the team
The 3 guys should be Jalen, Jabari, Alpi (plus Tari, but he doesn't need to be featured - glue guy). Getting KPJ out of here will be key to becoming a winning team.
i think that scout is thinking along the lines of wemby or scoot along with jalen/jabari being the 3. I have no problem with Alpi/Tari being part of the immediate support cast
KPJ is just trying to make it the "me and Jalen" show, while trying to be seen as equal to Jalen. But he is not.
If the perception around the league for Porter is down, doesn't sound like a good time to get much value out of moving him. On the other hand, it only take one team to want him enough to change that. I agree our 2023 Pick should be prioritized.
That is no different than someone here saying it or something else. Basketball opinions are a dime a dozen. DD
so this is basically saying we tank for another year. I think this BBS might be the only place in the NBA that rates Porter highly.
I think opinions are like assholes, everyone has them and they all stink. None of those scouts have been following the Rockets all that closely, and why would you - worst record in the league the last 2 years....so their opinions are based upon really old data..... I honestly don't give two craps for what SCOUTS think they want the team they WORK for to have an advantage, and getting KPJ out of here would make the Rockets significantly worse - you are not getting a player in the next draft with the 5th pick as good as KPJ is right now....at least for a few years. KPJ accelerates Green and Jabari's development..... DD
