The time he was drafted at #15 in 2012 and caused Royce White's coach to throw a complete disbelieving fit. Moe was a 10 year veteran in the league, and made over $60M; pretty nice career. 4:31 of this video...Start at 3:41 to just be completely depressed. Geez McHale...the only saving grace is that the entire second half of that first round was an absolute disaster, so lighting that pick on fire didn't hurt nearly as much as 2011.
"With that move the Rockets would have to make one more cut before the start of the regular season. Center Derrick Favors, the fourth player acquired in the Oklahoma City deal, did not play Monday in Miami." What an ominous way to end an article. But getting an end-of-bench guy to shore up the PF spot is a good move.
I'd love to keep Favors. If the right player became available Favors could be an important part of matching salaries. With Gordon, Favors and Tate you can match a whole lot of salary. And we definitely have picks to part with. Also a little disappointed we had to waive Maledon. I liked what I saw when he played the other night, but I guess there was no way around it and I'm certainly not going to cry about it.
Favorite Theo Maledon moment: Spoiler LOL Were they perp walking him out of the building (on his first/second day)?
Is the revenue thing an inside joke here? I can't imagine there's any sort of increased revenue with Boban's presence on the team. He is a fan favorite everywhere he goes though. I would say, looking at this list, the Rockets could probably cut more than 1 and not lose much sleep. There's probably a few players on that list that won't be solid rotation guys in the next 4 years.
Hudgins is still here? Casuals will say Nix, but they don't know the game well enough in reality....got to give him time to find his role as backup PG....same for anyone going from starter to backup. DD
What the hell…. I have never seen this. Too risky too risky too risky That is one person and player that is easy really easy to dislike. Trash
