Lots of questions bud. Here ya go:
Adelman-esque Princeton. Sprinkle of Denver. Sprinkle of GSW. You can read the other posts.

I see JG fitting in fantastically with anyone.

Stifle KPJ’s play? I wouldn’t, I would optimize his strengths, and reduce his dribbling as much as possible. Free him up to not have to be a heady PG.

I am of the mind that an offense with heavy doses of KPJ pick and roll is something we should avoid. If pick and roll Mozart James Harden and Clint Capela couldn’t get it done…

Sengun as primarily a roll man/rim-runner… Prioritizing KPJ over Sengun...

These are two moves I would make If I wanted to tank my ass off. Maybe that’s the plan?

I watch all content basketball for the most part.

I like the way Chop Shop breaks things down. They don't sugar coat things
and pander to Sengun nut huggers.

I’ve never seen a fan base get so attached to a player like how it is with Sengun. They care more about him than the team. We put up 37 first quarter points and people complained about his touches like he’s some superstar. I like chop shop for the same reasons, they tell the truth

Ya the sengun stuff is weird, the entire notion of rooting for mainly one guy on a team is weird also when they’re all kids

Says the guy who simps for KPJ.
Are you a KPJ fan? Care more about KPJ and his stats than the team.

    470 posts — approximately 450 on KPJ, 20 on (******** on) Sengun :D

I mean, the KPJ cult and Sengun cult aren’t all that different.
    Think they’re stars/future stars
Lists them among the core/foundation/untouchables with Jalen and Jabari
Thinks the offense should run through their guy.
It’s everyone else’s fault when they screw up/have a bad game

I’m a huge KPJ guy, but I care about the team first. I bash KPJ when he plays poorly. Sengun lovers only praise him and never talk about others on this team. He’s the weakest link in our starting lineup, it’s just the truth. I actually like Sengun, but I don’t like his fit with this team

It's sad that Sengun and KPJ are the reason we kill eachother in the GARM. Neither are good enough to be the sole focus of a team lol.. really don't understand the bickering.

You would think we have Jokic and Harden here

Got to admit, that was filthy.

It's because he has the ability to do things like that, yet his advanced metrics are so mediocre that we have a 150-page thread about the dude.

If he ever puts it together and finds some consistency ..... he can be an allstar.

This goes for basically any player. If you take the top 10 games from basically any player in the league and they play like that for the entire season, they're an allstar. That's the difference between guys who tease and actual stars.

I don't put any stock in preseason games honestly. He played well though if you want me to say that

I'm going to question this post and save it. Who is "they" and "we"? I thought we all were Rockets fans. Seems like cult/ PO fan stuff. I know that doesn't work for some people though.

I'll be cool here. You are so emotionally invested in KPJ that you you can't understand his criticism. He created that. Unless you work for him it's weird. He played well against the Heat. Let's hope that translates. Nobody wants him to suck. We're just guarded because his history shows you have to be. Same as any other player on the team.

    I.D.I.O.T.
Let's start a fight on whether the offense should run through Harden or Jokic.

This guy doesnt come in good faith. Have fun with the search function.

You serious right now? Gremlin #1 over here wondering who is us and them? NOW you're a team player? The irony. Im starting to think you have some issues that merit some therapy there "fam". I was also called emotionally invested with my draft preferences and I've already moved on to be a huge Jabari Smith guy and dont run around in every single thread crying about Paolo Banchero like you and your I Hate KPJ hobby. How is supporting KPJ contrary to being a team fan? I never attacked anyone for doubting him. I made a logical case that had its weaknesses around his attitude and advanced stats and there was some sincerity at times from more level headed people within the discussion.

You create disharmony for whatever reason and NOW you want to backpedal and throw out some sort of moderate take about his current play? Nah bruv. Im all good with the locker room ribbing and funny memes and the sprinkle of petty at times that guys tend to enjoy. You here just for the likes and its cringe. Be responsible for what you've said thus far and I may believe you're turning a corner into genuine discourse otherwise you're just another random angry internet guy. "I'll be cool here" ohhhhhhhhhh scary! Yeah dude I work for Kevin Porter Jr WTF - are you listening to yourself? I've had honest debates with plenty of people here and elsewhere who doubt his trajectory without the 8th grade lunch room routine so who's really emotionally invested when the best they can muster are one liners of vitriol and disrespect? Get that checked out.

I dont know man for every "Sengun Nut hugger" theres probably a "KPJ Hero Worshipper" ... this place is mimicking social media in all the wrong ways. Im getting older, but I dont remember this place always being like this even though outdated fan sites tend to have their fair share of animosity. Maybe Im just creating an illusion in my mind that there was a time when this place was heralded as the best fan experience ANYWHERE it was a model of what other places aimed to be and helped the Rockets community learn and offered opinion in a more empathetic way. Now its just dudes who want to pound their chest and post old quotes of themselves "being right". I dont get it personally, but I do understand how these things ebb and flow and Im just trying to enjoy this experience again. Its starting to not be fun and I can see why so many valued contributors just bounce over the years. Insiders barely check in anymore. Its embarrassing the way other platforms talk about ClutchFans and I hate to say it - deservedly so.

Yes to this. If you think KPJ and Sengun have potential to be all-stars and want to give them time to grow on a re-building team, you are a nut hugger and put them above the team. It’s bullshit. I think we have five guys with all-star potential on this team: KPJ, Green, Jabari, Sengun, and Tari. I hope they all make it. I don’t pick one over the other or hope one fails so that “my guy” becomes a max player. I’m guessing the GARM has gotten this way with an influx of immature people and internet warriors instead of true fans.

Edit: on second thought I read it.

He asked me of my opinion of KPJ's play in the Miami game. I said he played well. My opinion of him stands until he proves me wrong but that doesn't mean I can't give h credit for playing well.

I'm a super Gremlin. Call me Kodak
