Yeah, it's kind of like I said before, I think ultimately people are going to need to lose jobs to appease the Fed, and we haven't seen a ton of that. Fixed income is starting to look good. I just put a chunk into a 3-month CD and want to put another chunk into a 6-month. Wild, I know....
Geez. Looking at prices on some of these stocks we mentioned here. Insane. AMD -14% today alone. Remember @saitou would mention APPS......i remember making a little profit when it was in the 90s....it's in the 10s now! TSLA was supposed to go to 1600 (pre split) per the fan bois but now it's 667 (pre split)
That's like when PLUG was at $8 before I left my last job and a co-worker mentioned he had just bought it. I was like "PLUG? DIdn't I own that during the dotcom bubble?" I looked it up and sure enough - same company. My friend was gung-ho about the stock and said it would be a 10x stock easily. I told him it was a $1500 stock during the dotcom bubble and his jaw dropped. LOL. That being said, I did buy it, and it did go around 8-9x from where he bought it. I bought some for the hell of it since everything else was going up and when it started coming down, I sold it with a 7-8x profit in the $50's, I think. Can't wait for the next crazy run. Maybe PLUG will still be around.
I thought about buying MVIS at 14 lol! it's 3 dollars right now. Soon to be sub $1....then reverse split. dupe more 'investors'.....pump and dump. When market keeps dipping, I come in here for for a SQQQ post. Not disappointed yet. Felt like 2020-2021 stock market was the practice test. Now I am getting my ass kicked on the real exam.
Lol buying at $14 would have been a completely idiotic move unless you were trying to flip it in a day or two. I bought in sub $1 like 3 years ago and sold 10s of thousands of shares around $24 and kept about 15k shares to ride it long. I don't think it's going to go sub $1 again, but if it does, I won't lose anything. You must be thinking of STAF or some other bullshit company lol.
I think that is a GOOD possibility. I was thinking maybe THIS would be the week for that to start happening. There WILL be a rally. I hope yall ball during that rally. I think it's worth a try, looking at cheap lotto calls 2-3 weeks out, then I can hopefully put that back into SQQQ, lol
