Know that you're being obtuse on purpose so I'm not even going to waste my time answering those questions. What I will say is that Sengun only does one of those well (low post scoring), while his playmaking is overrated (sorry flashy passes don't impress me), and his rim protection is non-existent currently. He can get better, but as fans (and I am a fan of the kid) we have to be honest about what we see in our players. It's just the preseason and this game he didn't have an important piece next to him (Jabari) but I still expect more out of him.
Let me answer for you then. We play to the strengths of our players, that’s why we don’t ask them to only do the things they are worst at. Of course Alpy should still play defense and rebound, but if you are not going to even let him touch the ball once, for his lowpost and passing(he is elite passer for a big man, irregardless of how impressed you are), then why even have him out there, you are setting him up to fail.

I care about the Rockets not misusing and wasting their assets. Also I’m not convinced at all that running the offense solely through kpj and green is better than having an involved Sengun, for the Rockets.
If they weren’t using KPJ at all, you and others wouldn’t complain. It’s bc many are attached to Sengun. He wasn’t able to get involved bc it was a fast pace game
