    What he said. I like Alpi but tonight he played like trash. Dedmond is not a premiere center and at times Alpi looked completely outmatched. He even let the 33 yr old vet beat him down court a few times. The box score won't show it but when Alpi was in the game head up against Dedmond he got pushed around and looked a bit lost. Hoping he bounces back but if he can't be effective offensively or defensively without the ball then perhaps he shouldn't be our starting center.

    I mean Bruno doesn't have to have the ball to play effective defense and rebound. Tari (not a center) doesn't have to have the ball to play defense and grab boards (12 tonight). Our offense is centered around Jalen and KPJ if Alpi can't find his spot to be productive it's not (always) the coaches fault.

    Alpy will be a bit player some nights and a bigger contributor on others based upon matchups.

    he played 17 minutes and had 5 fouls.....

    Dedmon was causing him major problems....

    Alpi is a good player who has to find a way to be a role player against taller and faster players.

    Through 3 quarters they passed the ball to him 0 times. You don’t have to run everything through him, but is 1 touch too much to ask? Otherwise you are wasting him out there.

    It was too fast pace of a game! This team is young & athletic and wants to run! He wasn’t playable in this matchup
