    I think there is room for both the thick, juicy patty and the smashburger. Both are popular in the current meta. It just depends on what you prefer. Some people like the extreme Maillard goodness that comes from the smashburger. Some people like the beefy delight of the thick medium-rare to medium patty. I say if you are cooking the burger all the way through (no pink), you may as well do the smashburger. If you are willing to risk the foodborne illnesses, the medium-rare thick patty is the way to go.

    Could have been much worse, like his female employees getting robbed from killing babies or maybe even having to try and defend himself with a gun eww. Should be thankful he is in Cali and not Texas...- Governor Newson maybe....

    These three officials seem to be somewhere between incompetent and unwilling. If they have to give a press conference like this after how long this has all been going on without change - hard to believe them.
