Stone needs to go after the carcass of Jabari Parker, still only 26. Waived by Kings. We need to pick up all the cheap young reclamation projects we can find.
The Germans were not historically Hitler bad. The Cambodians were not historically Pol Pot bad. The Belgians were not historically King Leopold bad. The Chinese were not historically Mao bad. Things can change. The Rockets are now Tilman bad. (Detroit has won a more recent championship.)
So we're going to assume 50Ms of contract for one dimensional Duncan Robinson and then tear each other apart about paying our homegrown guys? This should go over well!
Better not take Duncan and that contract. Wouldn’t be worth eating that even with multiple unprotected firsts
Sounds like bullshit. Pretending it's true, probably a few FRPs with lighter protection in the mix. EDIT: Who the **** is Bill Stellman? You know this dude @Reeko?
why? We are developing a core of young talent that needs touches. We will likely have another solid pick coming in next years draft. Jabari Parker is the shot you take when you’re up against the cap and are hoping for a buy low high potential upside player.
You don't seem to understand all 30 teams get stupid with contracts every time TV deal gets made. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...cy-with-most-finally-expiring-this-offseason/ Rockets will inevitably be overpaying for some free agent(s)
Bill Stellman has broken several trades and is also very handsome. He's basically Woj if Woj never sold out. @Jontro please confirm.
duncan robinson + 1st round pick sounds good to me. he's basically a rich man's garrison matthews which the coaching staff seems to like.
He just switched to CAA basketball. Rockets have too many bodies and that's not including WCS who is hanging in limbo somewhere in the nether world. Bruno contract was a signal something is coming. As a two-way he didn't occupy one of the 15 roster spots. Now that he is converted, doubt Rockets are cutting him so soon. I've listed Eric Gordon as rarely playing while the majority have him starting. Makes no sense when the Rockets were supposedly shopping EG last year in Nov/Dec because they didn't want to risk him getting injured before the deadline. I have him in bubble wrap while playing sparingly. I'm guessing the Rockets have told EG recently that he probably will be coming off the bench. Like John Wall, EG is probably saying thanks but no thanks. New agent, find me a new home. P.S. Tate is safe something like entire season since he signed an extension. But Kenyon? Mathews?
