    I don't he will be that expensive. I'm guessing we were in the 16-19 range in the negotiations this past off season.

    I think we get it done at about 22 million.

    So the 2 starts JV missed did in fact cost him his chance at 200 Ks. He would have gotten there (on pace for 187 as it stands now).

    And, he has led the entire Major Leagues in WHIP in all 3 of his full seasons with us. All he does is keep opposing hitters off of the bases.
