He's also so proudly, defiantly stupid that it allows voters to expect absolutely nothing from him which, in turn, makes them feel good about themselves. Contrast Trump with Obama who they hated so much; Trump never appealed to "better angels" or talked about "more perfect unions." Trump told them it was fine to be openly ugly, racist and stupid while being proud of those things. Walker accomplishes the same thing for the Georgia GOP base.
