Watching our team development is almost as fun as the twin towers era; which is the one of the best times in franchise history. When we start winning again it’s going to crazy in Houston because of the journey to get there. It is like we are growing as fans with the players. I fell vested with this group people as we work towards the goal of a championship. This year’s preseason and trimming of the roster is going to hurt because we will have to cut some home grown talent. All that said, Eason is more than worth the experience of losing our on dome of our pet projects. Eason is what we hoped for in the projects all rolled into one.

If its anything like watching the Astros come together in the mid-2010's this'll be a fun ride.

Steal of the draft! His work ethic alone speaks volumes. All we need from Jabari is 3 and d, this guy will pick up the slack.

Another 20 and 10 night for Eason with no plays called for him in 21 minutes. If properly developed, Tari has the talent to be our third star imo.

Has to work and develop his skill set for different situations on offense and defense long term of course, you still have to prove it with consistency and reaching new levels, but he's bum-rushing the door so far.

Well, I genuinely hope so, and I'm on his side to max out his potential. If he can consistently show the three-point shot and mid-range jumper he flashed at times this summer he has a chance.

He just has to be a solid enough defender for playoff situations so he doesn't get hunted on switches by good teams with quick guards. Looking forward to his development this year with the team.

Love this guy's help defense! Super strong hands when people drive to the lane. And a great nose for the right spot on offense.

    What a pick!

Keeping Tari out of the starting lineup will be another mistake on Silas.

This guy was born to ball, and play in a read and react system...he is so BBIQ friendly.

    WOW.

I understand he’s raw but I have not seen the low bbiq narrative that was going around before the draft.

I said it was BS then.

Now every Rockets fan can see it for themselves.

I think what I loved most watching him in the summer league and now this preseason game was his nose for the ball. He just went up and got it. Really really good rebounder.

Shoutout to Tari's dumbass college coach that said he was low iq. That's why he dropped to us and it turns out youre the low iq.

Tari Eason has insanely high bball iq. it’s one thing to be like I just work hard and hustle. There’s lots of guys that do that. Heck Sochan was trying” to do that tonight too… it’s another thing to have that result in being in the right place at the right time and making some kind of impact so often and consistently on both sides of the ball.

I donot know who planted those rumors about his mentality. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Stone himself lol (brilliant move if so!).

just listen to his (and Jabari’s) answers in the below.

It wasn't his college coach, it was the scouts I believe.
