Frustration with Mills is that he has the tools and looks very good at times. I guess it is about putting it together. I like that he hangs in the pocket, but he needs to learn how to move out of it.
Unfortunately for us Mills is probably going to be a guy that puts it together elsewhere on his 3rd or 4th team if he does put it together at all.
What's so funny? There are a ton of QBs that fail with their first team and then go on to have decent careers as like veteran QBs and stop gap QBs. I mean that's like half of the QBs that are starting any given year. Mills actually can make most of the throws but the guy has a nervous breakdown anytime there is ANY pressure. If he can get over that mental hurdle he can be a decent QB. Nothing amazing, sure, but that wasn't my point.
Unfortunately, he hangs in the pocket like Jack hanging from the door. Hangs in, hangs in, hangs in, and suddenly he's cold and limp and disappears into the ground.
Mills can throw, he just has terrible pocket presence and gets too nervy. He fixes that he can be a decent QB.
