we shall see…I know they will win more then 30 games..33-37 is fighting for the playin. They will not go backwards in the wins. Teams get ahead of schedule all the time. Jabari will play with a Chip, Jalen will play with a chip. **** Ty-Ty will play that way.
I don't think we will make the play-in, but I also think it's silly to dismiss the notion. It’s realistic to expect us to be better than Utah, San Antonio, and OKC. At that point, anything can happen. Maybe the Lakers implode again. Perhaps the Kings underperform (surprise, surprise). Maybe injuries decimate a team like Portland. It's the NBA. Teams surprise all the time, both positively and negatively.
yeah i said it right in my post they will improve some. ending with about the 8th pick. Probably the 6-8th pick based on record. At the end of the season I would presume quite emphatically that they will not make the play in. Looking at the east last year if the rockets end up with 30-32 wins that would be 10-12 games out of the play in. The real interesting thing is trying to guess the next season's win total. I would put it at about 45-47.
Agreed. 45 is my guess…just fooking can’t wait for s**t to start already. Seems like forever…seeing jazz implode is like 4 play….haha
as much as he is talented and prob one of the best prospects in a long time.. i just dont trust him because of injuries
He’s had many injuries: https://www.sbnation.com/platform/a...jury-history-muscle-psoas-back-nba-draft-2023 Not only that, but the history of 7’2+ guys in the NBA is awful:
Either way we need a big man that can fight with Wiseman, warriors already look like they have the next great big man.
I don’t care! If we get the number one pick, I would still swing for the fences with Wemby. It’s an absolute no brained imo. If he gets hurt, oh well lol
I’m not saying he’s not worth taking at #1. I’m saying he has major risks. It’s just stunning to me that the same fan base who watched Yao is clamoring for a 7’6 prospect who has been injured four times by his 18th birthday.
Joel is hurt almost every year, he was pretty much out with injury for two years after being drafted. So I agree with your take a chance.
Finger fracture and shoulder contusion is not anything to worry about. That can happen to anyone at anytime. The stress fracture the concerning one. So I see it as really only one injury to worry about.
He doesn't have to be legit, bigs post 10 and 8 and he will get paid in this league. He looks like he is 14 and 9. Fans forget he was drafted during the thickest of Covid where scouts couldn't get to many college showcases and he was injured.
