    McCullers has always been a significantly better pitcher at home. Perhaps McCullers should get the game 2 start at MMP over Valdez.

    The Astros are limping into the playoffs. Maybe they will flip a switch, but there is a mental lapse that is plaguing the entire team and that is on Dusty.

    Verlander's been shaky early in his last 2 starts, but he was terrific after that. He got out of a huge jam on Wednesday night in the 7th inning.

    I am genuinely concerned about Framber though.

    He threw +/- 5 curveballs to the 11 hitters he faced in his last 2 innings. This is not normal. Hope it's just a "I didn't have it" thing and not something else. His FB/cutter location was also totally for s^^t, so that didn't help things.

    We'll see what's up against the Phillies.

    Verlander is fine. I’m not necessarily anymore worried about Framber than I was prior to the last 2 starts. I still have PTSD from last years playoffs. Let’s chalk this up to getting it out of his system now. What are the odds he throws 3 **** games in a row?
