Absolutely, that is the most important thing. Still would be nice to see him at a legit 6’10/6’11.

KJ martin at the bottom right - perhaps should have got in the corner?
It is definitely KPJ who then cuts on the drive

However, that is sensational perimeter defence from Smith. That level of perimeter defence at 6'10 with a 7'2 wingspan?

Can we get to some games already!!

Every player around the league when Jabari comes back into the game to guard them:

Jabari has the potential to be an All Timer on defense. His defensive ceiling is probably the highest the Rockets have had since a guy they got in the 84 Draft.

Jabari competes hard. That dude doesn’t like to lose. He has a aggression on the court that this team was missing.

    Damn that's embarrassing.

This actually helps Green, KPJ and Sengun. Smith and Eason are perfect scrimmage defenders to hone your offense against. They probably didn't have that many good defenders last season to practice against.

I hope Green does a lot of one on one practice against Smith.

Jabari’s D and spacing is going to make a massive difference. That, along with Green and Sengun’s development…keep sleeping on this team, y’all. I think they’re gonna surprise some people.

I'm so damn excited for Bari Tari on defense. That is going to shut **** down on defense.

It really isn’t. It’s just a practice and it was one of them. Occasionally good teams lose a quarter of an actual NBA game 37-13.

That said it sounds like Jabari and Tari are continuing that summer league defense.

we all know this team is young and dumb…1st unit was probably trying to run the offense and fcking up allowing the other team to run up the score

Exactly. This only helps in the long run. Guys like Sengun and Green seeing defenders of the caliber of Smith or Eason regularly at practice sessions is just going to improve their game even more.
