    It could be even worse, the west coast of Florida is far less prepared for a direct hit by a hurricane coming from the west than the east coast of Florida is when it comes to storms coming from the east.

    I saw several reports that the camera in Fort Meyers was actually 10-12 feet off the ground. That's insane

    You can see the US flag on top of the building at around 14 second mark of the twitter video.

    The storm surge is probably at least 8-10 ft.

    The width of the storm is ridiculous, and its slow traveling speed. Prayers for people hopefully already or currently evacuating Florida.
