I see him developing very similar to Framber Valdez. Has excellent stuff (much better than the average pitcher), and I am confident he can get command figured out. I think he's the kind of guy who gets a little better once he's settled in, though he also had a propensity to tire once reaching about 75-80 pitches, and going through the order the third time. I look forward to seeing him next year, I really hope he can stay healthy and be a full-time starter.
Sucks to see Phil's streak end. I like Daulton Varsho, good athlete, and underrated power hitter from the left side. Would not mind going after him as a trade candidate.
Varsho is low-key one of my favorite non-Astros. Love the way he plays the game, and I find him a lot of fun to watch.
