Stroud 2nd highest QBR in the nation while having some of the best touch and location on his throws. I’m not sold that this class is “bad” or that next year is better. CJ Stroud is creating distance though.

I still say Bryce but would gladly take stroud as well.

And I say Bryce because he’s lost so much talent at the WR position and is still doing work with a all new cast at WR and he’s making them better.

    Stroud lost JSN and struggled

If we pass on all three of those QBs then that means Mills showed enough to at least be a starter next year so…

We will draft Anderson then Michael Mayer
And sign somebody like a jimmy g or stop gap to “compete” with Mills.

Justin Fields and Trey Lance are worse than Mills.
Do you look at any non-black prospects?
If they’re black and a QB, they’re automatically one of your guys. It’s weird

Mills doesn't do anything well, he doesn't throw nor run. Fields and Lance were both high draft picks and I know you don't think this far BUT maybe their both in bad situations or a system that doesn't fit them.

Also, I didn't know Jimmy G was black.

Prospect. Jimmy is not a prospect

And Mills throws way better than Fields and Lance, which is saying a lot.

Throwing is and will always be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd most important thing a QB can do.
Running is pretty low down on the list of traits to be an NFL qb

Not necessarily. Maybe we draft #2 or #3 and Young is gone and Caserio feel Stroud or Levis is not worth the pick.

I just think we need to be open to ALL possibilities; FA, trades or lower QB draft picks

Well, throwing didn't help Mills on yesterday, nor the game before that or the game before that! And as bad as Fields has looked, he's 2-1.

I'm not saying Fields or Lance are world beaters by no means but obviously they have more talent than Mills or they wouldn't have been picks as high as they were.

And although Pep hasn't shown to be as productive with turning Mills into a good QB, maybe he can turn Fields or Lance into one.

I do think one of them will be on the block this summer.

Fields and Lance are not talented QBs, they have physical traits. That’s the problem.
Mills has all the physical tools you can ask for. He’s not a good QB, the other two are even worse at being QBs.

So Mills has all the physical tools to be a good QB and Fields and Lance do not?

What are you seeing that the NFL Scouts are not seeing?

No, they all have physical tools. They don’t have QB skills.

How anyone could have watched Fields yesterday and think he'd be an option for the Texans...I just don't even know what to say.

People use to say the same things about Collin Kaepernick and he got to a NFC Championship game and a Super Bowl.

I'm not saying he's a HOF but like I said earlier, maybe it's the system or the coaching he's receiving that's not cause him to progress. We don't know! But he is 2-1 and if the Texans were 2-1 many of you all would be hyping Mills to the heavens!!

They aren’t 2-1 because of him.
They won in spite of him.

Bears scored 19pts in the 2nd half of week 1 because of Fields and 10pts in the 2nd half because of Fields and they won both games.

While Miles hasn't scored a TD in the 2nd half yet

    Mills>Fields

Fields is a glorified running back, he can’t throw anywhere.
