I don't think they can hand the harasser a big check to go away as a matter of both ethics, PR, and the fact that the harassees are going to sue the crap out of thd org and that looks really bad! If he did any of this stuff, there's no way back - to even create the false hope via suspension seems a detriment to the team
1. Make sloppy list of bullets (don't even use parallel grammatical structure) 2. Screen shot bullets. 3. Tweet as if quoting a document. 4. Profit! I honestly like this model. Lessee if an old man can crank up a twitter career.
The VP must not have kids with this woman. Looks like he is trying to out this affair publicly so she gets nothing in the divorce.
Because he the head coach of the Celtics. A head coach is usually the highest paid/ most prestigious non athlete in the organization. A year suspension seem harsh if it was all consensual. I mean Tony parker was banging his teammates wife, and nothing happened to him.
The VP story sounds fake. The staffer he was having an affair with was probably someone else who was married like the TMZ report stated.
John could take a swing at Tony or asked to be traded. There functionality on the same org level. Who knows how the Spurs delt with it internally. The VP retaliated the only way a CPA knows how. Go after his bread and career.
It's not likely to be fake. The report is all over the place now. I might have missed some things, but these are what I've gathered so far. Confirmed: 1. Udoka was having a consensual affair with a VP's wife. 2. Management knew about it a few months ago and asked him to stop. He refused. Rumored: There are multiple (married?) women involved. Unknown: Did the woman (women) want to stop but Udoka refused? If so, it would turn into a harassment case. Did Udoka use his power in the organization to get sexual favors? To me, a year suspension is too harsh if it was just a consensual affair, but too light if he abused his power or was engaged in harassment. In short, if it's serious enough for such a long suspension, it should be serious enough for firing.
Another thing lost in all of this is how Malika Andrews has lost her internet wifey status the way she has reacted to this whole thing. Man, they hate her now.. tough scene.
I mean a fake report can be all over the place, would you not agree? There is nothing from official sources that say it was a VP's wife(at least not yet). That's not confirmed by any offical source man. TMZ only confirmed was with like the travel planner? The unknown is actually confirmed. He did make unwanted comments to her(likely after she stopped having the affair with him maybe). https://hoopswire.com/female-employee-accused-ime-udoka-of-making-unwanted-comments/ And this isnt just from hoopswire, they are aggregating a report from Shams. I think given how Matt Barnes phrased it, he did something really bad. The Celtics are just doing their due diligence so they dont have to pay him when they fire him. At least...that's what I have read. I do not believe Udoka will be head coaching the Celtics ever again.
