Ironically, many cities are dumping some of their worst back into their cities with all those bail/prison reforms and they end up destabilizing their communities.
Lot of truth there. I'm no fan of the bail system when it comes to extremely violent criminals and murderers. I don't know the answer. It's bad if innocent people get locked up without bail, but someone caught in the act, and on camera should not be allowed bail in my eyes. Screw that. That being said, Trump wasn't trying to protect anyone with that comment. He's the type that would love to see violence happen if that city was run by a Democrat. The sad part is, we wouldn't have so much violence if we had much tougher gun laws, stricter vetting for any history of mental health issues, domestic violence issues, etc. Republicans know that, but they love that NRA money more. They take that money and push their propaganda to justify assault weapons designed to kill is mass in the hands of civilians. It's even worse when you see some of those politicians showing their kids holding those assault rifles proudly.
