Netflix has premiered the trailer for “Dahmer: Monster – The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” Ryan Murphy’s true crime series starring Evan Peters as infamous serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

The ten-episode limited series follows Dahmer who murdered seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991.

This take will unfold from the perspective of Dahmer’s victims, the series with events taking place from the 1960s to early 1990s.

It will also explore the incompetence of the Wisconsin police during the murder investigations, allowing Dahmer to continue his killing spree.

Niecy Nash, Molly Ringwald, Shaun J. Brown, Colin Ford and Richard Jenkins co-star in the series executive produced by co-creators Murphy and Ian Brennan. Paris Barclay, Carl Franklin and Janet Mock direct.

The series will be released on Netflix on Wednesday, September 21st.

Sounds like an interesting take and I'm a fan of Peters so I'll give it a shot....

If it's like any of Ryan Murphy's other horror stuff it'll start out really good and then devolve into an incoherent unintentionally-comedic mess somewhere around episode 5

Very true but if it's more like his true crime stuff, it might actually be really good.....

Watched the first episode. Pretty disturbing, but very well done. I don't think I'll watch any more.

Yeah, I know enough about him and the story to really not have any desire/need to watch this.

The production value is insane. Each episode looks like a movie, well shot and everything. It's crazy how tv series nowadays make the tv stuff we watch growing up look like child's play.

I'm with you man. Netflix know how to sell and make it interesting with their style of shooting.

My morbid curiosity will probably get the best of me sometime in the future though.

When I say it's disturbing, I mean it. Stuck with me for several hours.

I can't believe the judge ruled that he wasn't insane. Dahmer was clearly batshit crazy.

Very. It's pretty damn central to the entire story.

Is anyone else irritated by the stupidity and redundancy of the title? That's really the best they could come up with?

The Gacy doc caught me off guard with the level of insanity -- I think I'll take some time before another serial killer show especially Dahmer.

I certainly don't support Gacy's 70's closeted gay murderous clown lifestyle. But then there's Dahmer in the 90s doing everything but without the clown and adding in some cannibalism. It's an impressive level of complete batshit psycho.

I think @Salvy would agree with me.

Agree, that Gacy documentary was insane... How do these people even come to be... We need a Gacy vs Dahmer spin off.... If these two were to meet would they try and kill each other or just date...
