I've got no problem with Joe Biden, but fully endorse voters telling their elected politicians to **** off. Keep them humble.

Biden is awful. Can't believe we have had Trump and now him for what will be 8 years. Thankfully we are financially stable because it will get even worse if something happens and Kamala Harris is president.

The DeSantis presidency Can't come soon enough

Yes. As I was bringing up in the Queen Elizabeth thread the President isn't a Monarch. The US military doesn't swear allegiance to him. Everyone has the right to tell the President to F^(K Off and other than simple decorum have no problem with people saying that to Biden.

I passed by a car in front of a mall today that had the slogan plastered all over it. Very weird, felt distasteful. Also saw a moped (?!) next to me at a traffic light, draped in an American flag and with a huge sticker on it that said "Don't blame me, I voted for Trump".

Weird to me that people feel the need to be so "out" with their partisan opinions.

It has already been declared a natural disaster area - they are working on it, now it is down to local politicians working out where to go first.

But I am sure you lying asshat GOP members new that....or should have.

Meanwhile Puerto Rico is still waiting on Trump to come through....

I get why these folks are upset and want to blame everyone they think has power. If I was in their position I know I’d be furious too.

But I don’t get why you think there’s a gotcha Brandon! Moment here to politicize. Especially when this happened mostly because of climate change that caused an insane drought and this town was a big huge tender box.

Joe Biden and Democrats actually want to do something about climate change. What do you want to do? What does the Republican plan for climate change look like?

Plus the road to this town just opened back up and it’s pretty much one way in one way out with FEMA they’re conducting a dangerous search and rescue effort. A presidential visit to
Maui right now would deplete so many resources that are needed right now. Blaming him for not physically being there right now is dumb. He’s better off in DC coordinating FEMA efforts and directing national disaster funds which he is doing.

I passed a biker yesterday with “F**% BIDEN” on the back of his jacket.

It’s crass but he has the right to do that and I think the US is better that we can express those views of our leaders openly.

Joe shouldn’t divert any already-strained resources for his arrival. His arrival at some point later wouldn’t achieve anything except drawing attention (does it really need more attention?) to it and requesting Congress for money to rebuild the town. And I fully expect Republicans to say no.

the party of family value and restrictions is “fking” in public

It’s fine with me; my kids see them, and it’s a good opportunity to teach them the value of decency and what hate looks like. Plus, words are okay. There’s no need to hide from, hinder, or ban them.

in so far as Hawaiian Electric diverted funds meant to upgrade their infrastructure to green energy projects, you are correct, this was mostly caused by climate change [hysteria.]
