    +1

And I don't have much interest in heroes and villains that point their arms and shoot energy beams. Or from their eyes at this point. Waiting to see who has the strongest energy beams is not very good dramatic tension. (Forever exception: big lizard shooting energy from his mouth.)

Maybe that's why Batman keeps getting remakes and why the a good version of the Fantastic Four could be fairly interesting. Heroes that don't shoot energy beams. (Yes, I know the torch can shoot flames, but you get my drift.)

But you need the pew pew energy beams to defeat the horde of identical cgi minions (part of me really wants to look back and count how many of the MCU movies have had a horde of identical cgi minions).

And don't sleep on DC CGI demons or whatever! Or actually, do sleep on them, b/c they're boring.

Shang-Chi gave me Iron Fist vibes

imagine giving the Netflix Iron Fist not 1, but 2, theatrical releases

Made too much money to not warrant a sequel. Plus, draws in more of the Asian crowd.

I was NOT a fan of the first one, but it's a good business decision to make a sequel.
