I rather my tax money go into taking illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard and Dem States than for it to go towards trans surgeries and killing babies....

Sure, if you have permission to enter the US, you can fly in. How is that relevant to the topic at hand?

You claimed they have to enter at a border.

I was referring to illegal immigration, the topic of the thread.

To clarify though, are you saying that, when a traveler visits the US, he/she enters the country not when the plane flies over the border, but when it lands at a US city? If so, that's interesting.

No. I already mentioned they fly over the border. They enter U. S. Territory. They don't set foot on American ground until they land.

Are you saying they enter the US when they fly over the border?

I'm saying they enter U.S. territory when they fly into US airspace. They don't set foot in the U. S. Until they land.

And I previously said they entered at the US border. I'm not sure why you think that statement was wrong enough to deserve being called out. In any case, how is this relevant to illegal immigration, the topic of the thread.

I thought you enjoyed needless exploration of words in an attempt to gather a needless 'gotcha'.

I was tossing you a bone.

Yes then they are here legally as they have a right to apply for asylum and are in the
process. In that case then these are not “illegal immigrants” that DeSantis talks about.

DeSantis’ argument though is that the border states are being overrun by “illegal immigrants” and that he is exposing Northern Blue states to that problem. If they are here legally they argument falls flat. All he’s down is spend FL taxpayer money to move people here legally from one state to the other either of which aren’t FL.

So those are the only two choices for tax payer money?

I think Fl has a lot of other needs that could be addressed by that money.
