This guys stats are wrong - Way Wrong. Really have to be careful believing the random crap these "Content Creators" post. "only open on 12% of his 3's" According to NBA.com - Players Shooting Dashboard Closest Defender +10 | Stats | NBA.com EG took 301 3's last year. 196 of those there was no defender within 6 feet making 84 (.428) 94 of those no defender within 4-6 feet making 37. (.394) 11 shots with a defender within 2-4 feet making 3. (.273) 0 shots with a defender 0-2 feet. He took 65.1% of his total 3 point shots with no defender within 6 feet. He took 96.3% of his total 3 point shots with no defender within 4 feet. He took 3.6% of his total 3 point shots with a defender "closer than 4 feet" That's being "open" a hell of a lot more than the 12% this guy claims. When this is the kinda stuff reported, its easy to see why people complain about Silas ....

It's still pretty good for a 32 year old. The word 'elite' has been overstated but he was hardly the first one to do that for a player.
I wasn't criticizing EG at all. I was criticizing the dude who posted the stats that were flat out incorrect. He stated EG was open on only 12% of his 3 point attempts. That is a complete and total falsehood. NBA stats show that EG was "Open" on 96.3% of his total 3 point attempts. Only 3.6% of EG's shots were "contested". The point of my post was that you cannot simply believe all the stats that some random clown on twitter posts and there is a contingent of people around here run around spewing these numbers like they are gospel.
