that was certainly a narrative in 2016. There are excellent records of how many F1 visas that have been issued. No so sure on how many people are pouring in the country recently.

Two planes of migrants were flown by DeSantis to Marthas Vineyard, Ma. Marthas Vineyard is a tourist area with only 15,000 regular residents even so rather than just put the migrants on another plane and sent them somewhere else they are providing emergency shelter and care for them. Note the governor of MA is a Republican while Boston might have declare itself a sanctuary city I don’t think the rest of MA has declared itself a sanctuary.

Using immigrants as a political point is slimy politics at its worst............these are human beings and Desantis is using them as a tag line. I am just curious and it doesn't really say but what type of immigrants are these, Cubans? You cant get into Fl from Mexico on foot. Here is the worst part, I was in WPB last week and everywhere I went there were companies looking for workers, just like every town in America........why not fast track some of these folks and get them into the work force where they can pay taxes and improve there lives and improve the work force. Lets be honest some of these immigrants do the type of work most people don't want and would just take unemployment, I`ve met some illegal immigrants and from my experience they are hard working folks who just want a chance

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis is claiming credit for sending two planes carrying migrants to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts Wednesday, according to a statement emailed to CNN by his office.

"Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha's Vineyard today were part of the state's relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations," the statement said.
"States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as 'sanctuary states' and support for the Biden Administration's open border policies."

I heard on another news source that most of the migrants were Venezualans.

It's going to be funny to see how Biden tries to stop this. Make it illegal to offer people free transportation?

Plus the Biden admin has already been flying illegals around the country for awhile now, so what is their complaint?

So a group of immigrants were lied to put on a plane, not fed and showed up hungry to Martha's Vineyard. Per the release they are being sheltered, fed and coordination with non-profit charity groups is continuing. Where did they declare a Humanitarian crisis? Seems pretty reasonable to me.

A "Humanitarian Response" to cruel actions by a politician thinking he could get a cheap political win. Normal people wouldn't laugh at this. You are part of the little extremist group of Republicans that think Americans support cruelty just because they are "brown".

GOP is rooted in racism, so it's only par for the course that they would not think of these migrants as fellow humans, making it easier for them to make jokes and ignore the cruelty of what their leaders are doing.

    Evil, evil people.
