What did trump himself do again ? No proof Trump arranged anything …the headline should be Trump son mad about Hillary disinformation campaign TDIP and wanted something to bounce back but wasn’t aware of the extent of campaign finance law …

this to me is NOT collusion …the basis of TDIP was proven false time and time again as the initial basis for investigation. The initial basis of investigation was not a Trump tower meeting ..it was blatant misinformation

Keep in mind media outlets such as CNN, MSNBC and others “touted” the dossier with flimsy corroboration. We know the basis of the Russian collusion investigation was the debunked dossier which started way before the June 2016 meeting …as such the startup of the collusion investigation was make believe pie …any son would be upset at Clinton on blatant mis truths that originated from Hillary’s campaign.

again no evidence Trump orchestrated this or planned this. The result?

    no collusion

the basis for investigation was erroneous from the jump

So the fact that he had advanced knowledge of wikileaks releases is absolutely proof since they are designated as enemies of the state.

Establishing back channels of communication with the Kremlin prior to being president is definitely proof.

Did you actually read the evidence I posted? It's all there.

You obviously don't understand what an intelligence Dossier is. Some of it was verified to have been true.

By definition a Dossier does not claim to be 100% factual. It is simply a gathering of rumors from Intel sources.

The Steele Dossier was also not the only evidence used and certainly not the primary piece of evidence.

The evidence is lacking - back channels is not proof - it’s actually a typical process …
    IS IT LEGAL?

Kushner's contacts have revived talk about the Logan Act, a centuries-old law that prohibits U.S. citizens from trying to influence a foreign government in disputes with the United States. The act has been used so rarely that legal experts say it may no longer be valid. And no one has ever been found guilty of violating it.

Not for an unelected candidate with a foreign adversary.

Lol rumors …and that is a significant piece of information- what a joke - why even bring in this nonsense in the first place ? It’s like a throw something at the wall tactic …maybe something sticks

Because like with all rumors some prove to be true and some are not.

With intelligence agencies, it is often a starting place of where to devote more resources into gathering more intel.

Gotta start somewhere with a political opposition research report no doubt

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opposition_research

Opposition research is a shady dirty trick imho (especially when the report is based on “rumors”) but I can understand Hillary Clinton campaign taking advantage of this allowed tactic … This is a key point in which anyone running for president needs to have political savvy. Trump was not prepared for the game and everything it involved I will admit to that

Since most people in the decision making process understood what an intelligence Dossier was, it didn't hold much weight.

But the media trying to sensatuonalize, blew it up and publicize it. Since then, people, most of whom were Trump defenders, have been trying to over-emphasize the Steele Dossier.

Some of it has turned out to be true. Some of it hasn't been confirmed or debunked. Some parts were debunked.

All of that is standard with any intelligence dossier.

It plays no role in determining that the Trump campaign did, in fact, collude with the Russians.

“Largely discredited, and deeply flawed and largely unverified” is the most understood description of the report today ...I still fail to see the collusion. There is nothing intelligent about a dossier when it’s built on fascinating untrue stories and rumors ..

I really don’t think a political opposition research report should hold much water because after all it’s constructed by the political opposition…if that’s not one sided slanted from the start then I don’t know what else is

So the Mueller Report lays out the evidence, none of which is reliant on the Steele Dossier.

I already posted the evidence which proves collusion.

Your proposition that the campaign manager and numerous other members colluded but somehow Trump is clear is laughable. Where does the buck stop? Who was the candidate?

The Steele Dossier had nothing to do with the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Absolutely nothing.

You are so utterly clueless on what actually transpired, there is no point in even explaining it. You simply do not want to know the truth.

Your "understanding" of what transpired is a bunch right wing propaganda buzzwords strung together in a few sentences. Its absolute nonsense.

Yes it’s actually Fusion GPS that laid the groundwork for the dossier. This was the precedent I meant to say that initiated the timeline

Fusion GPS is an opposition research firm created by former Wall Street Journal reporters in 2011. The firm gained public notoriety after the 2016 election cycle. During the election, Fusion GPS controversially worked for persons associated with the Democratic National Committee and Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to compile an opposition research file against Republican candidate Donald Trump. The file alleged that Trump engaged in nefarious activities in Russia, reportedly being paid $1 million for the work. Trump has denied the allegations in the file.

    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/russia-probe-timeline-moscow-mueller/story?id=57427441

as cited from the timeline, Christopher Steele was in the picture as early as Jan. 2016

Fusion GPS retained Christopher Steele, a private British corporate intelligence investigator and former MI-6 agent, to research any Russian connections to Trump. Steele produced a 35-page series of uncorroborated memos from June to December 2016, which became the document known as the Donald Trump–Russia dossier…so when I say it started with the dossier I am considering where the dossier derived from

    Yes, that quote is accurate.

It has nothing to do with the investigation.
