I would not trust desantis to do this, thus I wouldn’t vote for him. The country might be irreparably torn. I’m an optimist, but not about this.

IMO, a significant portion of the country has been convinced that people who don’t look like them, don’t pray like them and don’t love like them are to blame for their troubles in life. The messaging won’t stop and the belief will strengthen. I watch Fox before I watch CNN, and this is what I see.

Conservative Christians used to preach that they could improve the country by showing kindness and godliness, and that would convince people that that was the way to go. It was admirable, if sometimes misguided or misapplied. That is gone and replaced by venom, hate, anger and ignorance…that is what they are projecting to people they used to try to help.

Andrew Yang failed spectacularly in his run for the Dem nomination, but he was right about a few things, in my humble opinion. Rural white uneducated America is screwed (as much as low income urban minorities). And that cohort is told to blame and hate minorities, gays, Dems. And it’s not stopping anytime soon.

did someone let you out of your high chair?

you appear to have a Masters in injecting non sequiturs in other peoples conversations.

but I will be kind and respond. Kamala Harris is worthless. Talk about statement of the obvious. Yet, if somehow it were Harris v Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, it’s still an easy vote against Trump the antichrist.

You don't get to talk **** to me lol. I wouldn't even hit you if you were in person. I'd slap you because you're a b**** and you wouldn't do a single thing except go to the hospital and sue . Your legal career is pathetic btw

You'd vote for Harris instead of not voting because you are a trash attorney and a liar

This is the downfall of this mindset
You have to be on this side or that side

    No you don’t
    You are on your side

Everyone knows life in California if you don’t have money, especially in LA and San Fran. I haven’t heard anyone say otherwise.

It’s expensive to live there because the super wealthy want to live there and over time it has become a place to cater and insulate the super rich. The social life for the wealthy is excellent, the weather is fantastic and it’s beautiful.

There are ways to make it less expensive but the cities purposely avoid new housing construction to keep driving up housing costs.

It isn’t made for middle class or poor people, but that isn’t surprising at all.

Isn't that pretty much true anywhere though? The difference is you have homeless people sleeping outside on wealthy areas and ******** on the streets.

I'm all for treating mental health and if my tax dollars go to help some of these people so be it. I volunteer for a reason but it just pisses me off when people get on a soap box who do nothing.

I know you do. I wouldn't name drop but the fact you knew Dayvon and Herbert told me a lot.

The generalization and assumptions are key to puppet mentality.

I may have told you this story before but my friends in San Francisco who are ‘white’ were walking their street and three BLM people went up to them and told them that they are reason for what’s wrong in this city and country.
    My friends husband didn’t flinch.
Starred down them down and said ‘I’m from Russia’
The protestors walked away and didn’t want any piece of them
    @Salvy

What these protestors didn’t realize is that San Francisco has lots of rich internationals living there

Russians living america don’t really fear Americans

I mean, its pretty racist to judge people based on the color of their skin. Except when people are white it seems. Then its okay to attack them, blame them for everything, remove them from being mermaids....

YangGang failed spectacularly because he has the cojones the size of a mustard seed. People follow courage and if he has any, he could turn that 2019 Democratic primary debates upside down on its head. I used to like him at first because he was different and had fresh ideas. The way he was treated by the racist Democratic machine and their legacy media were just downright disgusting. He could have garnered so much support and sympathy if he were to expose them during the debates. He instead falls in line and submitted like a little lamb. You could say Tulsi Gabbard’s balls are ten times the size of his or YangGang knew that going against the Democratic machine could mean his life, another suicidal victim?

im not familiar with Ike’s. If it’s about food, Lemme know. Always happy to learn and try new stuff.

I got us sidetracked on California cuisine a bit. It really is a minor point, that CA cuisine generally emphasizes freshness and health more so than that in Texas. That’s not to say that one is not available in the other at all. Especially in Houston, we have everything here. It’s just a different food culture that I personally prefer.
