I was born here, I was raised here. I passed the bar exam here. I work here. My family is here. If it was simple to move, I would. Right now, it isn't worth it to me to uproot my life, no matter how much I disagree with state government. It might get to a point where that is the case, but that point isn't now (though I am considering taking the Hawaii bar, because who wouldn't want to live in Hawaii?).

None of this has anything to do with what I responded to or what I posted.

Your nonsensical ramblings are getting worse.

i can tell that you've never lived in Calif.

Californians who move out of state do so for economic reasons.

i know several relatives (w wife and kids) who have moved to Tx; they cashed out on their hi price Calif home, and buy a bigger one (more room for their kids) for ~~60% of their former Calif home

don't believe the lies your frat brothers tell you.
while Newsom is not as popular as his predecessor, Jerry Brown, he is quite popular, the recall election (initiate by his political enemies) to oust Newsom was resoundingly defeated

If "male privilege" is a thing, a dude comparing their autonomy to not get a vaccination for a highly infectious virus to a woman's autonomy to not have forced births would be the prime text book definition of "male privilege".

Right, don't believe people who I have been close friends since I was 18 but some democratic shill off the internet. Does that sound logical to you?

They have plenty of money. They aren't complaining over that. I don't know you but I would venture they have more money than you do. I'd bet on it actually. Newsom is trash. Sorry

Also, never lived in California and have no interest. I'm good in Texas. Please keep you guys there. Don't want you guys messing up my property value. Stay out of the Woodlands please (you won't though) and the Heights (I have to live with that because it's a liberal area). Honest question; if people from California are doing so great why are you guys always late on rent? I need another week and all that bs.

Conservatives seem to be obsessed with denigrating California. Half of this thread is borderline idiotic. Nook said it right. If you have the money, California is great. If you can’t handle the high cost of living, California isn’t for you. So it’s really about the person, not the state.

Objectively, California is probably the prettiest state in the country and has its greatest economy. I don’t even think it’s close. You can argue Hawaii is prettier. (Or maybe you like the Rockies, the four corners).

if you’d rather live in Texas, the woodlands, Conroe, the Heights over the nice parts of CA like SD, La Jolla, SF, Marin county, Carmel, wine country, , it’s either because your family is here and you don’t want to leave them (a totally legit reason), or because you can’t afford California (also a legit reason). If you have the money, don’t have family ties to Texas, and would categorically reject the idea of living in CA because of politics, the only conclusion I can draw is that you are stupid and don’t like nice things.

We don’t want you here. Period. Stay where you are if it's so great. Nobody is looking to move from Texas to California.

    LOL breh
lots of people WOULD LOVE to live in LA JOLLA
but lots of people can't afford the THREE MILLION DOLLAR TAG for an AVERAGE house there breh

There's not a large population of people in Carmel, Marin, and Napa.. that's because it's for SUPER RICH PEOPLE.

    @King1
but if you want to work as their butlers and house keepers sure.

Also, on my other thread LOTS OF CALIFORNIANS are moving to MEXICO cause they get the same Pacific Beach and way less homeless people for a fraction

Carmel and La Jolla are nice, I spent time in both places. But Newsom seems like an insincere douchebag.

bluntly put, they are afraid that they can't hack it in uber competitive Calif.

Meg Whitman, confident of her ability, was looking forward to move to Calif. she rose to become the CEO of HPE

    btw,

within the most prestigious public university system in the world, the UC, more than 60% of its grad students are not native Californians, quite a few Texans

UC system admission has a build-in bias favoring out-of-state applicants

I got friends in Laguna Beach, they have a tennis court in their backyard
guess what income bracket that is?

what the fake outrage d&d doesn't understand is life is very hard for the non multimillionaires there. why do you think the crime is so bad? or there's a 40000 homeless people in LA?

but i get it, there's this fake narrative they want to spin instead of looking at reality. There are tons of middle class and even rich people that moved to Houston, Austin or anywhere now in Texas. Also all the companies moved here too which brought them there.

California has many 'cities', it's just a way to segregate by income.

Chappelle has a joke when he goes to San Francisco that got all the white people laughing.

Are you in real life like an ultra liberal?

I'm asking because of I was to do a parody account of a right winger a la the Colbert Report I would mimick your entire being in clutch fans, from your views to your writing style.
