Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for “The Fablemans,” the upcoming semi-autobiographical feature from director Steven Spielberg.

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner (“Lincoln,” “Munich”) pens the film about a teenager (played by Gabriel LaBelle) growing up in Arizona who got inspired to make movies. The trailer release is coming off rave reviews for the project which have just gone online.

Michelle Williams stars as his artistic mother, Paul Dano as his successful and scientific father, and Seth Rogen as his ‘honorary uncle’ and Burt’s best friend. Judd Hirsch, Jeannie Berlin, Julia Butters, Robin Bartlett, Tina Schildkraut and Keeley Karsten co-star.

John Williams is doing the score for the film, which opens November 11th.
