Damn I just watched the final quarter and OT. The coach is an absolute moron, watched specific players choke the game away so slowly. Multiple games with no assists for Sengun tells me something is tactically wrong. Furkan and Cedi taking so many shots because they're older is also a bad idea. They (France) were REALLY ready for Sengun. Gobert knew what he was getting into and he is the best defensive C on the planet. It's not uncommon for stars to look confused when they first get game planned, and that goes as high up as the MJ's and Lebrons of the league. That's just how it is. Would have been nice to see how he bounces back from this game, but it's knock out. Hope he's heading to Houston ASAP. Can you imagine what he's going to look like after a real training camp and the new defensive coaches get some work in? With way more spacing than last season (he was almost ALWAYS on the floor with a second non-shooter last season)? With Jabari always guarding the more mobile PF/C? Going to be great. I thought this was an excellent summer tournament for Sengun. I know the stakes are high and no disrespect to nations participating, but selfishly it was really awesome prep for the preseason and then the season of course.
At this point I don't know if this is trolling or someone sincerely hating Green that much. I don't want to have this forum turn into a Green vs Sengun battle. You don't have to put down one of our young promising players to lift up another one of our young promising players.
No need for battle. If J Green scores 25+ ppg and if Alpi gets 18/8/6 per game I will send them invitation for next year's London Fashion Week. I believe that they are good friends. Problem solved. Meanwhile please don't be so sensitive about J Green also. We witnessed here Alpi ranked below Tari. Lots of different ideas, half to be ignored.
Eh saying Green isn't a hard worker is worse than someone ranking someone over another player even if it's a bad take.
I guess you missed the other thread where we were criticising Alpi's Chotanak green suit. It is more related to Alpi's style rather than Green work ethics.
