He is. People in here are just complaining to complain. @cmoak1982 was correct on the drop but people want to blame Mills
My only complaint is that I don't like this preseason style running back rotation, where each 1 gets the entire drive.
I think it's important to keep Mills confident. Something BOB never understood was that you need to kill the pass rush with quick passes and that also serves to get your QB in a rhythm. If you call nothing but long developing plays, you get your QB killed and shake their confidence in the line.
I agree with this but Lovie went out of his way to say that werent necessarily a running team. That's obviously been his mo in the past so maybe he switched up the game plan. We are winning so I'm cool with whatever gets us a W
Mills definitely missed some throws. I like him a lot, and it's surprising he missed those throws. I just think we lucked up getting a guy who throws a really good ball after Watson walked on them. He will eliminate the inaccurate passes based on what he did last season. One thing Im surprised about is he actually moves around the pocket pretty well
Yes. He's put some shots right on target to well covered receivers. He's not hesitating to just throw to a wide open target like some quarterbacks.
So far it's worked out decently well. While I prefer Pierce get more burn, Burkhead currently has more yards per carry. If you can carve up defenses with both you will keep them fresh while doing it.
I’m thinking they are going to go heavy Pierce in the second half. He will be very fresh and I think they want to pound the ball at them as the first game goes on and fatigue sets in.
He started on Pittman but I think he has been on Pierce for most of the game. Pierce has 0 catches and 1 drop so far.
