Our hitting is so anemic right now, it is hard to imagine a competitive playoffs at this moment. Fortunately and hopefully, things will "tick up."
He got to 12 errors pretty quickly, but had been sitting on 14 for a while. He has 15 now. Errors are part of the game but he was on pace to commit 28 at one point, and is now on pace to end with only about 17. Nice to see he's trending in the right direction, although, I do think about 5 of those errors were borderline and could have easily been hits instead.
Craig Reynolds career RBI rate as an Astro was 1 per every 11.4 at bats. Yuli Gurriel this season is averaging 1 per every 11.0 at bats. Just as a reference point. Yuli Gurriel plays at a position where run production is paramount to a team's overall offensive success.
