Texas judge deems Obamacare HIV prevention drug mandate unlawful

Folks argued that the free PrEP requirement, as well as free coverage requirements for contraceptives and the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, requires business owners to pay for services that "encourage homosexual behavior, prostitution, sexual promiscuity and intravenous drug use" despite their religious beliefs.

    Another day in backwards land.

I keep pointing this out. A problem with the law is that a gay teacher will have a difficult time explaining to a student how he is married to that same sex person pictured on his or her desk. A straight teacher has no such concern.

Also, I believe the law reads that any parent of any K-12 student can file a complaint if they think their child is exposed to material they don't agree with.

It's a poorly written law that addresses a problem that does not exist.

Talk to the GOP NAZIS with your complaints. They like forcing their brand of government regs into the schools, and making mass hysteria out of issues regarding books and the whole trans identity thing. Tell them to just let teachers teach, and be accepting of all kids.

The same types in the movie Reaper Madness.

The cult is real. It's not easy to get past the brainwashing put in their minds.

The guy who works for me, wife is an assistant in special ed. 2 weekends ago she went to Dallas for training.

My dad was a worker. He did very well in his life. This has nothing to do with a 4 yr degree, he wanted to better himself and our family.

I used to work 14- hours a day or so and ended up being very successful in my business. It cost me a divorce, but I wouldn't change a thing and no I didn't get a 4'year degree. I put my ex-wife through school and got re-married to a very successful lady that has a degree. My point is degrees in some fields aren't worth much anymore. Work ethic is much more important.

I taught my son this and he has an engineering degree. He also plays guitar at a church for money on Sunday and works at a rock climbing place 2 evenings a week. He's happy and doing great.

It really is all about what you want in life and what you're willing to do to achieve your goals. But somebody that doesn't live this way shouldn't expect to have the same level of income as the guy who works alot, degree or no degree.

When I went to school there were no pictures on teachers desks and the only way we knew teachers were married was if they had Mrs. Before their name. We had no idea who single teachers were dating both men or women. BTW, the best English teacher I ever had was gay. He was an awesome teacher who also taught many state winning debate winners. When my mother passed away my sr year in high school he and another teacher went out of their way to make sure I passed even though I missed 42 days my Sr year do to my mother's illness. I'm great full for him today.

My anecdotal story is that when I (and my kids) were in school, some did have pictures on their desk.

Neither your experience nor mine, changes that particular issue.

My sister mentioned about my 10 yr old niece went through those gender/sexuality lessons at school. She also mentioned a friend came out and said she liked her.

She was ambivalent on how to react since while she’s a practicing Christian at a conservative church, she’s fairly open minded in the sense that repression or shutting it down could negatively impact my niece given that she’s already very sensitive. I didn’t tell her, but I think it’s fine, as kids should be allowed to explore (platonically) and even if she isn’t gay, then it’s no big deal when she does grow up and catch real cooties.

I don’t think it’s the school’s fault (Williamson ISD) for opening up that can of worms, nor are they depriving students of their innocence when it’s the same students broaching the issue as kids grow up faster through the internet and through chemicals in our environment that mimic hormones.

It’s easy to think teachers are pushing this upon kids yet we all want all kids to be respected out of concern it’d be our own.

And how many times have they been condemned. Dems falsely stated they were welcome at some rally and then backed down when it was found out they were specifically not allowed in.

Also, who is to say they weren't libs in that gear? It's already been shown Ray Epps and a well known BLM member were there in magagarb inciting folks. Kinda like what they were doing at other BLM and antifa rallies...

Ray Epps was MAGA. He wasn't an imposter or posing. There were false reports of an Antifa guy posing at Jan. 6th. It's not surprising that you believe the stuff, but honestly, you should do better.

    Stop falling for these.

Even a supporter of the law here admitted it’s just about virtue signaling on the right.

John Sullivan was the BLM rioter that was there.

As for Epps? We're not buying it.
