The magic PED wouldn't take 4 months to kick in. He hasn't been good all year, in early August he had the same numbers he's been putting up the last few seasons.

I don't what in the hell sorcery happened in August.

He's 30 to 40 pounds heavier than Lebron James. 280 pounds of muscle is a lot for anyone. He's only a little lighter than JJ Watt

It is pretty damn entertaining when the headline reads: “JUDGE HITS ANOTHER BOMB, PACE: 173”

Then you check the score and the Yankees lost 9-1.

Lebron James plays a sport where being lighter is a necessity. He is 6'9''. JJ Watt is 2 inches shorter than Judge. JJ Watt is also cut for a DLinemen. There is nothing out of the ordinary for Judge.

If it was ordinary for 280 people to play baseball, then you would see it more often.

It is ordinary that a guy that is 6'7'' weighs 250-300lbs. It is ordinary that a guy that big and is an elite athlete weighs 280lbs, most of which is muscle.

He has some of the weirdest home/road splits throughout his career...

I mean one year Babe Ruth at home and Adam Everett on the road. Then the next year it's about even splits. Then a year later drastic splits again...

There's something magical about Yankee stadium for him.

    Pretty even this year...

Sure, but then you're endangering player's lives just to keep up and have a job...

He has probably gotten tested multiple times this season. Don't they have random testing now in mlb?

You think there's no impact on pumping testosterone or other drugs in your body?

Suicide, depression, and cancer just off the top of my head.

I thought that was obvious after what happened to Giambi and Cammy...

I don't know who you hang out with but 280 was the normal size for an NFL in the 80's. There is nothing normal about 280 pounds of muscle. Shaq was about 280 when he entered the NBA.

I could get on board with the juiced ball theory (not PEDs) as it's rather odd that he's tearing the cover off the ball in a dead ball season. Sanchez with the 470+ footer in same game.....

My oldest son has been as tall as 6'8" though he's shrunk an inch now making him 6'7". His weight has fluctuated between 300 and 340 and he's just solid and naturally strong. While not an athlete, he is a first responder, Paramedic and Fire Department Captain which is hard on the body and requires him to be fit.

So that's my point of view.

Um, athletes are bigger, stronger, and faster than they were in the 80s dude. Athletes take better care of themselves now than they did then.

Um, What? You think EVERYONE is the same? Is normal for an athlete to have 6-13% body fat? Um yes. There haven't been many 6'7'' baseball players. So, Just because is rare for his sport...you think he is cheating. If he was a 6'7'' 280LB DE with the same body....you wouldn't have a problem. DUMB. It is more likely JJ Watt (go look at pictures of him) is a PED user than Judge. U bring up Shaq, he was a unicorn because of his size, quickness, and lack of foot injuries for players that size. Doesn't mean he was using something.
Being in shape for someone the size of Judge is not that unusual if you are a pro athlete taking care of his body. Again, just because he plays Baseball, instead of football doesn't make him a PED user.
    BTW...I don't even like Judge.
