Doubtful. Trump is the only one who has claimed that. He first claimed it yesterday during his rally even though he b****ed about the search for the past month including the search of Melania's stuff. To make a point Biden needs to appoint someone like Snooki, Steve O, or Puck from the real world to a federal judge seat just to make a point that we have to change how we oversee judges. Impeachment isn’t a realistic oversight tool when you have corruption at this vast a scale. So I say put someone in that makes a mockery of the courts in a way that the right realizes what they’ve done politicizing the courts. Maybe Snooki can overrule a judge on the 11th circuit in a future Hunter Biden case and let Hunter have a special master.

I don’t think the special master will make much of a difference. It’s very unlikely that the special master will be someone who is fully in Trump’s camp and the DOJ already has and reviewed the evidence. Also the DoJ is in no hurry to prosecute. Delaying it for a special master will just go along with the likely DOJ timeline if not issuing any indictments until after the midterms.
If Biden does that the GOP will first condemn it and then will take it as justification to appoint people even more ideological and less qualified like Mike Lindell.
