On the first point it was individual state governments that out in COVID restrictions while the PPP program was from the Federal government. Also on that point even states and countries that didn’t put in a lot of restrictions still suffered economically. Many consumers simply didn’t want to risk going out with a highly contagious disease.

On point two. Many well off tax payers and corporate tax payers have benefited greatly from tax breaks and write offs to the extent that their effective tax rates are lower than many of those who earn less. In some cases this has led to a negative tax rate.

Also for someone who says they are for less taxes it’s an odd argument to then blame lower income tax payers about their tax burden.

The states with fewer restrictions had less job loss, because people were not prevented from going to work. Sure, some people voluntarily quit (increases in government handouts had a hand in that), but not to the same extent. People still wanted to go out and participate in life (see all the restaurants that opened outdoor dining, for example), so it wasn't just a natural consequence of COVID, it was actual policy.
No well off tax payers have a negative tax rate. Some corporations do in certain years when they show a loss, but eventually they have to pay. You are saying that like it is a bad thing though. I don't want any of them paying any income tax.
I don't think you understood the point. People that pay little or no taxes are constantly complaining that those who pay much more in taxes are not "paying their fair share." Everyone should be paying zero, but the people who actually are paying zero want the people who aren't to be paying even more. I am not "blaming" lower tax payers for paying less taxes, I am blaming them for getting that benefit, but then voting for me to pay more taxes. Then I and people like me are called greedy for wanting to pay the same amount of taxes as them. It is "greedy" to want to keep your own money, but not "greedy" for them to have the government take my money and give it to them.

you need to slop lying, billionaires like Warren Buffetts / Steve Forbes had also been complaining about who pays the most taxes.

people who don't understand taxes, such as you and others, are merely parroting convenient baseless spins by lobbysts

if only you'd stop making convenient baseless claims.

That’s still ignoring that it was state governments that put in COVID restrictions while PPP was a federal program. So in that sense this wasn’t one government correcting the actions of itself and those not paying back their PPP loans doing so because it was the Federal government they wronged them.

Also I’m not sure that states that didn’t lock down did better economically than states that did. My recollection is that Minnesota’s economy actually did better in 2020 than SD’s.
Individuals can benefit from corporate tax benefits by setting up S corps or LLC. They can also benefit quite a bit by taking advantage of breaks from self employment. I know this because I am both an owner of an S Corp and also have rental businesses I manage as self employment. As such my own effective rate is lower than what my marginal rate. It very well could be lower but I don’t take advantage of every possible break and have hired CPAs or tax attorneys to find me ever possible break.

It’s been well established that many of the most wealthy do pay lower effective tax rates than those in lower brackets for those reasons.
Fair enough people complain about stuff that doesn’t change the fact that there are people who are getting loan forgiveness from PPP loans acting all in a huff about student loan forgiveness. You seem to take a Randian argument that the PPP payers are richer as such they pay more taxes, not exactly proven since those loans were taken in many cases through incorporates businesses as you note can have negative tax rates, but they are getting a benefit from them system as much as those students.

Also we don’t know for a student getting loan forgiveness perhaps they use that money to start a company that becomes widely successful so that they end up paying much more in taxes than they would have.

It is a meaningless distinction, as I never mentioned federal government creating the harm or state government creating PPP. I said government did both, and they did. State governments also did direct payments (I know California did). Federal government also had restrictions. It's almost like government had restrictions and government took actions to ameliorate the damage caused by the restrictions.
I never mentioned the better economic outcome. I said in states without restrictions people still chose to go out, so it wasn't simply a fear of COVID that cost people jobs, it was also lockdowns. You are addressing a straw man.
I never said any of that was not true. I said no individuals with high incomes have a negative tax rate and that corporations can for some years by showing losses, but eventually have to pay. Nothing you said contradicts that, you are just talking about how people can structure things to benefit by taking advantage of the complex US tax code.
While there may be some individual examples that fit that narrative, anyone making 125k or more is ineligible for student loan forgiveness, and most people with PPP loans pay more in taxes than an individual that makes less than 125k per year.
Okay, and? They could also use the money to set up a child sex brothel in Myanmar. What they do with the money has nothing to do with the policy. That's like saying we should outlaw abortion because the aborted child might be the next Einstein. It is purely speculative and avoids the issues with the policy for some fanciful future benefit.
That doesn't at all contradict what I said. I made no comment on what billionaires complain about. I commented on people who pay no taxes complaining that the people who pay lots of taxes should pay more taxes. In order to prove I am lying, you would need to show that the people that pay no taxes in fact to not want the people who pay lots of taxes to pay more.
I understand that I spend much more in taxes than I get back in services, and I would rather not.
If only you were able to make cogent arguments instead of non-sequitors.

Likely because the people that pay the most taxes control the levers of government and have built the rest of the entire system to favor their own interests. And people the pay the "least taxes" also are the ones who face the highest actual burden of taxes on their lives.

Nearly half of Americans receive more than they pay (maybe more). That is the reality of our system. I (and probably you) are paying the way for people who hate us and are just mad they can't take more from us.
This only considers federal taxes, but the results are stark and unlilkely to change much if you throw in state taxes and benefits. 60 Percent of Households Now Receive More in Transfer Income Than they Pay in Taxes | Tax Foundation If the tax system was really super regressive, as you claim, why would anyone outside the top echelons want our system to continue? The poorest should be calling for an end to taxation. Of course they don't, because it is a lie told to try and soak more from productive people.

Trump is terrible, and an awful human being. Doesn't mean Biden's policies are great.

    DeSantis to the rescue.

Biden for all intent and purposes called anyone that voted for Trump enemies of the state…a maga republican to be exact …, well a trump supporter is the same thing - let’s not split coconut fibers and call it different and contrasting- when we know they all come from the same cover ….then of course the dementia puppet president forgot what he said and mentioned trump supporters not being a threat to the disappointment of some on here that would likely cheerlead arresting everyone that voted for trump if that could be possible

I agree that those that resort to violence are threats to democracy- we seen plenty of that from antifa or jan6 but then he wove in “those that question the election results” ….wrong questioning has been apart of every close election- the mail in ballots seems like a process that can be abused and we should question it from every angle and every manner - that’s NOT a threat to democracy- a maga republican and a trump supporter is the freaking same - you can’t demonize everyone that didn’t vote for you Joe as enemies of the state - come on man or at least his handlers lol

No that isn't what Biden did.

It isn't just about those that resorted to violence and broke the law. It is about those that support them, hold them up as martyrs, deny election and democracy.

There are candidates and state legislatures full of these people who are trying to invalidate votes.

Calling them out is correct, accurate, truthful, and necessary at this point.

Stop tolerating and making excuses for their crap.
