Do you realize that Biden's inflationary policies and giving money for student loans to people that will have high paying jobs is doing exactly what you're saying Republicans are doing. At least when Trump was in office there was low unemployment, lower taxes and for the first time in a long time wages for the middle class grew more than for the upper class. Particularly the minority workers wages gained the most. Now we've got 3-4 dollars gallon gas. Food prices are going way up and it's going to get worse during this winter with heating oil. In some cases people are going to have to choose to heat or to eat. This doesn't even take into account that global companies like HP are probably going to be laying people off in the fall, winter.

You have no idea how much those kids will make on their first job. My guess is that the majority will make under $100,000. Republicans were all for no pay back PPP loans, tax cuts, and tax loophole breaks to millionaires and billionaires. You realize the richest made billions off the pandemic right? Price gouging and taking advantage of big tax breaks while the middle and lower class struggled. It certainly carried over into Biden's term, with supply and demand and price gouging. By the way, I didn't make more money as a retired Vet and substitute teacher under Trump than I did when Obama was in office. Biden is doing a hell of a job with unemployment reaching all time lows, and more bills passed to address serious issues that effect everyone in this nation from gun laws to infrastructure to helping Vets, to lowering caps on Medicare and insulin, to addressing climate change. It depends what they are. If they are laws to discriminate or based on hate and bigotry then no. If they are put in place to protect workers, civilians, and the environment, then yes. When safety precautions can be skirted to save money at the cost of putting others at risk then its a hard no. There's nothing worse than having chemical spills flow through the water and air putting those around that plant at risk of serious health problems. That's why Occupational Safety and Health inspections are so important. Cutting costs to save money only benefits the ones who put their own profits over the safety of the people working for them, whether it's a chemical plant, refinery, airport, shipyard, oilfield, factory or anywhere else.

Not everyone is self-serving in their career choices. Teachers are extremely valuable in our society, regardless of you calling their choice a waste of college. Yes, they should make far more money! Too bad our states and government don't reward them with salaries based on their hard work, dedication, and importance of teaching the kids of the future. Thank God there are people who make career choices like social workers, managers of homeless shelters, environmental workers, counselors, therapists, teachers, and such, who dedicate their career towards helping others. None of them make $100,000 right out of college, but their sacrifice is not a waste of time.
