Watching the US Open and they have automated line judges and the calls happens really quick. It should translate pretty well to baseball calling balls and strikes without much delay. I look forward to no longer having people like Angel Hernandez and CB Buckner calling balls and strikes anymore.
Last played 6 days ago. Took BP(I assume), scratched with hand discomfort. That hand(or hands) isn’t getting better in 2 days or 4 days or a week…shut him down. (Dare I even say go get the surgery done now even though he says he doesn’t/won’t need it in the offseason.) “We’re not putting him on the IL! Not even a consideration!” Stop hoping against hope. Michael Brantley wasn’t coming back. (No update, no update, no update, we think and hope he comes back but don’t know when he’ll be back, oh he’s now out for the season.) Just because you play Yuli (and previously Jake) everyday hoping they’ll get it going, no. “Hey, play them everyday, leave them in the lineup, maybe they’ll get it going just in time for the playoffs?! Maybe?! There’s a chance! It could happen!” Can’t even get a diagnosis on Yordan. One hand or both hands? What’s actually wrong with the hand(s)? WTF is hand discomfort? I mean @Jontro has hand discomfort.
Glove hand/top hand on the bat. I would expect a retroactive IL stint announced tonight or in the morning.
