Your posts caused him emotional distress and he resorted to laxatives to lose weight. It's all you guys' fault.
If he can knock down 3's at NBA average of 36% he could be 6'8 better passing better rim protecting better rolling PJ Tucker.
[delusional Rockets fan on Twitter] Hey man if he finally puts it together, I love the idea of a KPJ-Chriss two-man game. Chriss provides the vertical threat that we've been lacking since we dealt Capela. And there's reason to believe this will be Chriss' year: - He's on a team with low expectations - He's just now entering his prime - Our amazing team culture will uplift him - John Lucas will work with him - He's the only player of his archetype so no one to directly compete with - Playing with a dynamic scoring backcourt (probably top 3 in the NBA) and DPOY candidate Jabari Smith will make things easier for him both offensively and defensively - Silas made Dight Powell look really good - Patrick Fertitta was once named a Houston-area most eligible bachelor So as you can see, there are plenty of reasons to expect him to excel here. I will also post a YouTube highlight video which proves his excellence. Honestly, if you don't think Chriss is going to be a major part of our championship team this year, then you're just a hater and I have no time for you. [/delusional Rockets fan on Twitter]
First official game in the European Championship. Spain 114- Bulgaria 87. Garuba: 10 points (5/6 in shots) 7 rebounds in 17 minutes
I just don't see it. He is lazy on the court, doesn't set solid screens they are haphazard, doesn't ROLL hard, just sort of floats at times, doesn't look engaged. He doesn't fight to get by block outs, he gets to the basket with the ball like 1 foot away and just passes it out, no confidence, no above the rim action. And the fact that he is undersized at 6'8" and seems to lack motivation - yeah, I think his days with the Rockets are numbered. I may have missed before on players I like that don't make it, but I can't recall anyone I didn't like that made it...... Garuba may be an NBA player, but I don't think it will happen with the Rockets, to me, he is a dime a dozen player, just another joe. And I know people do like him so I am going to avoid getting up on stage in his games because no one wants to hear the negatives pointed out, even if they don't see them themselves. DD
DD this is one of the rare times we agree. I was excited when we first drafted him, but just never see him being an offensive threat. The hope was he’d work his a$& off and develop some offense, but that certainly hasn’t happened. No player with his tenure and age should be coming into camp overweight. Tells you all you need to know….
…..to add, just watched those highlights in this thread and his shot (or shot put may be more appropriate) is of awful form.
Forgot to post some random ass Per-36/RAPTOR stats to further prove the point. Also mention how we'd be dumb not to give him a 4 yr-80 million extension because other teams will be tripping over themselves to do so.
Just saw the second half of Belgium-Spain (after watching the Vuelta). Garuba had a nice off. rebound, an assist, some points and one (meaningless) block. Against a Belgian team with no NBA-talent, he was very stoppable.
He pretty much has until the end of the year to prove he can be part of a rebuilding team or maybe even until the mid season trade deadline.
