He got impeached twice, and it never slowed him down, why would an indictment mean anything? He has been indicted numerous times for different ****, and it never slowed hm down. Discouraged Trump? Show me one instance of anything discouraging him in his life, and then we can talk about a maybe.
When all this shakes out and people start to go in front of a grand jury or sitting for affidavits the new motto for the gop will be
Why would anyone make a deal for him not to seek national office? How is that really a punishment, and who exactly does it benefit? Do you all think he has a great chance of threading the needle again to get reelected, even after Jan 6 and everything that has come to light after that? Democrats a salivating at the thought of him running again, and the RNC is threatening to cut him off if he announces a run before the midterms, but the DOJ would be happy to get this in writing why? Ok if this actually happened do you not think Trump would use this to his advantage and just rile everyone by saying see they just did not want me to run again and nobody would think of the damage it would do to the Democratic Party and Biden once this eventually leaks This just makes no sense whatsoever, what am I missing here?
More on the lie about declassification. No, Trump didn’t declassify everything; it’s barred by the Nixon tapes decision https://thehill.com/opinion/3622679...thing-its-barred-by-the-nixon-tapes-decision/ The article points out several relevant things regarding this lie by Trump. I like that he says Garland will have to prosecute Donald Trump, as if there is no choice in the matter. Anyone one of the agencies that Trump supposedly cleared the declassification with could clarify if they were ever consulted.
This is exactly why nobody who claims they believe in law and order, truth, and America having a leader who doesn't support coups, sedition, lies, and propaganda to stay in power should vote Republican. The GOP party is comprised with people who all did exactly that. They can't fiddle a different tune when they decide to run for President if Trump is convicted. They proved their loyalty to Trump over country over and over and over again, and joined in on the bashing of the handful who told the truth about Jan 6th.
still waiting for a Trump bootlicker to explain why Trump would be keeping top secrets documents, and if he did declassify them, why he would want such secret information declassified in the 1st place
The nation benefits from him not running. It takes away a large platform for him to use in order to foment and encourage violence. It removes him from access to more classified material and criminal activity. That being said, I don't know how they have the power to demand that. But if they can, I would be happy if that was part of a deal but not the whole deal.
They cant help but keep the lie going, there all in deep sh*t and you cant piss off the cult leader now...........she will wait until she is under oath to finally tell the truth, but for now you have to keep the lie so the base doesn't know the jig is up. I really need this process to speed up so we can get on with indicting this POS and his posse
she sounds like a blockhead Trump and his crack staff of lawyers should really sthu if they knew what’s good for them they have yet to say a single thing that’s helped their case…they’ve actually contradicted each other and Trump as well several times already now espionage and obstruction are mundane…these people are cartoons
Gop folks like to toot their horn about how patriotic they are, how much they love freedom and sht. Trump straight up endangering our country with poor mishandling of top secret documents and these folks r like fake news!!!!! Where da pics, show me the national secrets!!!! If he aint in jail he did nothing wrong!!!! Newsflash the justice system is fked up and has a different set of rules for rich white folks.
I do not have faith in our government to end trump political career or even jail him. It's too partisan to do the right thing. Any politicians on either side would have their career ended after the 1st impeachment. It's quite impressive that he is able to overcome this much scandal to b where he is today. To think after years of lawsuit and impeachment, hoarding a stack of papers in an unsafe location (containing our nation's secret) is what sinks him.
It's like USA, ruled by the mob with power to break any laws, any oaths of office, and any protocols for security of our country and protection of our troops, intelligence, and missions if that's how it ends up. Honestly, that would be the most blatant show of the injustice of our country if a white collar criminal like Trump didn't serve at least 20 years for all the different things he has done starting with the planning of the coup, trying to get the votes changed, etc... Oh, add in the company tax fraud and other investigations. I can't keep track any more.
