The excitement may end when they see ESPN's numbers. If ESPN was OK letting go of the B10, they certainly aren't going to pay a premium for the B12. And with Fox, NBC, and CBS all working w/ the B10, there's not many competitors for ESPN to bid against.
UT is also adding a beach volleyball program. Still baffled at why they don't have a men's soccer team.
4 pac schools + Norte Dame? Wouldn’t they want 1 more to make it an even 6? I’m holding out for the 5% chance CU is included. They would be the obvious 5th choice from the pac (and arguably a better choice than cal imo). Get r done.
Seems like this is all formality at this point. There's nothing the P12 can do at this point to put Humpty Dumpty back together. Wash/Ore/Stan/Cal to B10 Corners to B12. 4 conferences in time for 12 team playoff.
The expansion of the playoffs seems to fly in the face of the whole superconference thing to me, to the extent it means the end of the NCAA. It runs counter to the notion that the Big 10 and SEC are gonna take their ball and go home.
