I've already spent a good deal of time on this topic. If you have the time, go back and read the past few pages. But to summarize, actions speak louder than words.
actions like continuing to push the stolen election lies? Give it up. No one in their right mind thinks he conceded.
After he "didn't" concede, he said "my focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly, and seamless transition of power." People like you can't see the forest through the trees.
Well, I'm married with two kids so I guess I don't get laid as much as I'd like. You wouldn't be able to relate to that because no woman would ever marry you let alone have a child (they planned on)
I've read your word salad. So did Trump lie on June 25, 2021 when he said he never conceded? Being forced to do what he Constitutionally had to do doesn't mean he conceded. Doesn't matter what you or I say. Trump said it himself. "I never conceded"
Maybe he doesn't know what the word "concede" means. Maybe he did lie. He's lied about a lot of things. Maybe he thinks that, because he didn't say the word "concede", he didn't actually concede. That seems to be a popular train of thought....
actions like continuing to push the stolen election lies? Give it up. No one in their right mind thinks he conceded.
After that quote, there's a reason so many news outlets' headlines had some sort of variation of "Trump finally concedes". Why do you think that was the case?
Student loan forgiveness getting to the Supreme Court is a MASSIVE win for the Democrats and Biden. If the SCOTUS rules that it is constitutional then Biden and Democrats win. If the SCOTUS rules it is unconstitutional, then the public will be irate and there will be a big backlash against the SCOTUS and Republicans. The worst thing for the Republicans is for the SCOTUS to start doubling down on unpopular opinions and rulings.
I disagree. I don't think student loan forgiveness is nearly as popular as you think. I think a vocal minority support it, and a silent majority oppose it.....especially since it doesn't fix the underlying problem. The best case scenario for the Democrats would be if the student loan forgiveness doesn't get to the Supreme Court. That would allow for future candidates to promise another $10k/20k/whatever in student loan forgiveness. Obviously, I'm operating under the assumption that the SC will rule it unconstitutional. Don't forget that Pelosi originally said that it was unconstitutional. Further, we're near the half-way point of President Biden's term. He campaigned on $10k student loan forgiveness. If he truly thought he had the authority to forgive $10k, he would've done it earlier in his term. Instead, he repeatedly called on Congress to address it.
You are funny. So the President of the USA discharges/forgives $10,000 to $20,000 in student loans and the SCOTUS is going to in effect tell the government to go back and recharge all of those people $10,000 to $20,000; and that isn't going to cause political problems for the Republicans? It absolutely is, and all of those people that had their loans discharged, and their spouses and parents are going to be exceedingly angry because they have real skin in the game. Not to mention all the people that are in the process of getting mortgages and procuring other credit needy instruments are going to see their credit scores go down as their debt ratio increases. Will the mortgage and car companies that made approvals based on a smaller amount of debt to income ration going to be able to pull their credit? Will they be able to sue someone for redress? The absolute best thing that can happen to the Democrat party is if the SCOTUS decides to undo what Biden did on student loans. Couple that with Roe being invalidated by the SCOTUS and people will start to passionately turn against the GOP because it controls the court. Student loan forgiveness doesn't even need to be supported by 50% of the voters, because those voters that have the most to gain or lose (those with student loans) will fight the strongest over it and it will be a wedge voting issue.
The way to win the young demographic is obviously ******** all over womens rights and taking money back from recent grads. Republicans are playing chess. Libtards are playing thumb war.
Wishful thinking. Sorry you can't see the forest for the trees. Actions speak louder than words. (see the big lie) Trump "I never conceded"
you need to venture out of your cave sometimes Recent polling suggests the majority of American voters, 60+%, may be in favor of the Biden administration’s decision to forgive billions of dollars of student loan debt for low- to middle-income borrowers. another poll taken in mid-June indicated that 55% support a student loan forgiveness program
