It was a few years ago. I’m not an online sleuth enough to verify but was just curious if there was anything to it.

Given Clutchfans notoriety and I do think that Cruz is a legitimate Houston fan it wouldn’t surprise me if he at least lurked here.

I still don't know how folks voted for this clown to b Texans Senator. Him running away to mexico while folk froze to death/ blaming it on his daughter and him kissing trump a$$ even after trump insulted cruz wife r the few things that stood out to me.

Oh and him btching about student loan relief.

 

I don't know how folks associate themselves with him at all. He's just a f***ing creepy person who has no relatable social skills other than to be the slimiest person in any room that he's in. And that's saying a lot considering he's a lawyer who is now in the US Senate. It really makes you wonder what his wife saw in him. Should we be concerned for her? Is this a super long term kidnapping that's just gone unnoticed? He's clearly had sex with her 2 times. Were those times with her knowledge?

 

One good explanation is maybe Ted Cruz, Texas Senator is a persona he portrays to appeal to the simple Republican folks that voted for him

He is very, very intelligent though, so he knows how to play it.

 

He is smart and he does play it. But to me, it seems obvious. I don't think he's very good at it. But I guess it does fool enough people.

 

When I met him in 2010 he seemed like a cool guy. It ticks me off he spews the garbage he does now because I know he’s too smart to believe that bull ****. He’s just power hungry.

That is exactly what it seems like to me. I wish I could like him. He has the smarts and dorky ass humor to make me think he'd be okay. He's such a nerd and I think that's a good thing.

But obviously he won't embrace that and instead has to play the red-neck phikospher/politician.

 

Stop lying Ted. You guys increased the national debt by over 8 trillion dollars. For what? The corporate elites? The tax dodgers? It sure as hell wasn't for anything to help the middle class and poor. Biden got stuck with your mess and has done more good in less than two years than you lying criminal traitors did in four. Why haven't you and Ken been disbarred yet?

 

I don't like the debt forgiveness at all. But why does he always talk down to college grads like this? Is it just because his constituents didn't really go to college? Or finish? Not that I think everyone should be going to college or anything. Just axn. It's... weird.

 

We went from WWII veterans like John Tower (R) and Lloyd Bentsen (D) representing us in the us senate to soft-handed ******* like Cruz and Cornyn. Tower was on a gunboat in the pacific. Bentsen was the commander of a B-24 bomber squadron and flew 35 combat missions, was shot down twice, and was awarded the Flying Cross.
